Normalisation will definitely play its part in SBI clerk mains too.
Had given RBI Grade B Prelims and was in second shift which was claimed to be the easier of the two especially in GA and Quants.
Marks got reduced by close to 12 in them.
Many have faced the same.
Now it seems tougher shift pupil have an advantage over the easier shift ones.
And the way RBI Grade B cutoff has increased to 105.75 from 78.5 last year, it seems SBI clerk too will cross 100, because there are many geniuses around us and who do not share anything and only come when they clear. Being from West Bengal and being General it seems scary now. 😰

Guys abhi 8:15 ko mera NIACL ka exam hain..exam deker jab tak mai aau tab tak aap log ek accha sa cutoff ka poll kerke mujhe bhata dena ki kya cutoff rahega...woh CRPD walo ne bola hain ki SBI k kuch higher authorities k member iss grp mai available hain jo poll k through hint dete rehte hain ki kya cutoff jayegi so friends plz help me.

Kya hoga mera mujhe khud nhi pta.bhut rona aa rha.. 2016 se continue exams de rha aj tk kisi me final selection nhi hua.. har bar 2-3 marks se rh hi jata.. is bar to RRB PO b gya.. waise vacancy hi kam thi hmare state me.. only 3 post ar mera attempt 51 tha... aj NIACL ka exam hai pr uske b only 4 post.. waise hona hoga to 1 post me b ho jaega.. ab RRB OA se thodi hope hai.. waise exams to aage bhut hai pr bhut ka wait nhi kr skta..

Guys Aaj kisi se call kiya Kya CRPD walon ko... Kuch updates mile to plz yahan batana....
No one is rejected BECAUSE OF Normalization, you simply were not in top percentile in your shift, how u could have been in top percentile of the entire set of candidates: - my takeaways -
1)normalization is the very LAST step in preparation of merit list,
2)Top percentile from each shift are selected EQUALLY.
3)it does not matter how much a perosn from other shift is scoring ,candidate has to compete with his/her SHIFT candidadte only.
4)difference in marks of both shift are equalled by averaging,increasing /reducing marks.
P.S. :Said it 15 days back ,will say it again,1st shift candidate from any state expecting around 90-93 is safe. .2nd shift safe marks is around 97-100 ***worst case scenerio
