Let me guess based on cakewalk score theory(My own😀). Last yr 35 in reasoning and quant was a cakewalk for average guys or the last general ones. Similarly 15 in gk and 15 in english so 65 totally cut off was 70. This yr the cake walk scores are 25 in lr and di 15 in gk and 7 in english though i feel no score is a cakewalk score in english this time so total is 47 lets add some 8 marks and it shud be 55. Assumptions: 25 is possible for majority of people in quant and reasoning together.These cud be 20 and 5 respectively and cut off may go below 50 but not above 55.

my grand father gets 7000 pension ,how can he mantain 5000 min balance in sbi pensioner acct, its not easy to traverse into jandhan actt from sarkari pensioner acct as said by bank manager, ab aap log hi bolo, mar khane wala kaam ni kr rha kya upar se mere dada se bdtamiji se bat kiya sale ko marunga m ek din

Guys, please guess my marks after reading this. I am very tensed: 


Interview experience Trivandrum (16/9/17): 


GD Topic: “Online Shopping – Good for Customers, Bad for Market. Agree or disagree?”. Prioritization topic was ranking traits necessary to grow in an organization. GD and GE went very well. I was very happy with my performance. 


Then came the interview.


M1: What are your strengths? 


Me: Sir, I have good communication skills and leadership qualities as I have managed a team of professionals in my previous job.


M1: What are the values that you uphold in life? 


Me: Be receptive. Learn as much as you can. 


M1: Ok, you worked in 2 companies (TnL and TIME). Which company do you think was better w.r.t. your expectations? 


Me: I feel that the 1st company was much better. 


M1: What’s wrong with the 2nd company? 


Me: Sir, the processes were very slow and it took a long time to get things done as approvals were given from Kochi which is so far away from TVM. So that’s why I was not satisfied with the job. 


M2: TIME is an organization with strict and rigid rules. In SBI also, you’ll face the same situation. What will you do then? 


Me: Sir, the education market in Trivandrum is highly competitive and so the organizations have to adapt to keep up to survive. TIME was lagging in this. But in case of SBI, a delay in approvals will not cause SBI to lose its competitive edge in the banking sector. So, if any delays happen, I’ll tolerate it. 


M3: What is Biometric ATM? 


Me: Sir, please let me try. A biometric ATM is a machine where instead of a PIN Number, fingerprints are used to access your bank account. 


M3: Why is it useful? 


Me: Sir, it’s useful because the PIN can be stolen and duplicated but its very difficult to duplicate fingerprints. 


M3 asked another question. I don’t remember it but I know I answered it. 


Then came the b**ch. 


F1: Ok, what is Cassini? (She doesn’t even know how to pronounce it. I heard Caesium) 


Me: Its an element 


F1: Ok, so something’s in the news these days about bank account, IT Industry. Are you not aware of it. 


Me: No. Sorry Ma’am. Ma’am did you say Caesium?  


F1 (Her eyes big): Cassini. C-A-S-S-I-N-I. That was the previous question. This is a new one. 


Luckily, M2 intervened and said “Madam, I think he got confused that Cassini has got something to do with bank accounts” 


F1 (Smiling): Oh no no. Both are different. So answer this. 


Me: Ma’am I do not know. Sorry. 


F1: Don’t you read the newspaper? 


Me: No Ma’am, not much 


F1: Then how do you keep yourself updated? 


Me: Ma’am, I just read the headlines and go into details only the news which I feel is useful for me. 


F1: Do you use mobile apps? 


Me: No Ma’am, only the newspaper 


F1: Ok, when was the last time you read the paper? 


Me: I just read the headlines today morning 


F1: Ok, what did you read? 


Me: Ma’am I read about linking Aadhaar with Driver’s Licence. 


F1(Smiling): That’s what I was asking you? (Me: Wut?) 


F1: Ok what else did you read? 


Me: Ma’am there was an explosion in the London Tube. 22 People were killed. 


F1: Killed or injured? Both are different 


Me: Sorry, I think they got injured. 


Told me to leave. I thanked them and left.


Lasted for hardly 6-8 mins. But then that was the case for everyone. It was like each panelist will ask not more than 2 questions.

Sbi m.d had told that there will be less hiring in this financial year,it means that they might conduct sbi po exam next year as well and an early sbi clerk next year..

ye itna bawal kyu macha rhe ho cut off pe....simple sa calculation hai..


last year 70+20..normalized to 27...to aise wale ko final mei 46/50....


to is baar bi 23/25 max maan lo ... to if you think mains cut off is 55... then 55+20 normalized to 22.5 plus 23= 45.5


agr mains ki cutoff 60 mante ho to ..80 normalized to 24 .+ 23 =47


to aapka descriptive hee aapko paar lagaega..baki kuch rkha ni hai in cheezo mei...har round mei in sab mei ghusne wale niklte gye hai. to put it to rest and focus on ibps now.

why I think this SBI process is unfair:


First- in pre , the people who give exams during the first day start off with a huge disadvantage despite normalization....


Second - in  mains- GK plays such an important and useless role.. people here are expecting 28-32 in gk...and if the cutoff stays at 50..you can see how unfair it is..


third- in interview ..it is such a luck based event.. panelists are humans afterall and can not judge everyone the same...plus linient panels in some places award more marks which wil surely push up the cutoffs

Do letter and essay carry same marks? And how much one can get for decent letter in proper format and no spelling mistake and an essay of less words but without any grammatical mistakes?
