Puys notice one thing..who ever is sharing their GDPI experience they say GD Was good PI was average...it is because in PI u actually know how u have answered questions...but in GD u have made some points doesn't mean that u have performed well... Everyone made some good points....they are judging u overall, not on the basis of ur points.

I attempted 71 in mains (expecting around 45 marks), and my descriptive paper went average (expecting 25-30) . GD and PI was above average. I belong to SC category. What are my chances. Any opinion?

Bacho ke ek site pe experience dekhe SBI PO GDPI ke ....dekh kaar laga ki vo SBI PO ke interview pe nhi RBI Governor ke interview pe gye the
51 < Gen-objective-ctoff < 57 .. That makes sm1 at the boundary with avg marks in descriptives fetch anything 81~87. I.e 24.3 ~ 26.1. So now, considering if the final ctoff is 46 or anything grtr than that, (lets take it as 46, my gut feeling!) , he/she needs to score a whooping 43.4 ~ 39.8 out of 50 in the gdpi process! So the reality is, gd~pi may seem to be a saviour...but the only thing that gets you to come in the merit in this year, is the difference between your written marks and the written ctoff! As all over india, the pi has been more or less conducted in the same fashion, not so technical p.i qstns asked to anyone...so it is highly likely that it wud be the written marks that wud propel a change this tym ( atleast for 95% of us!!! )

Heart : Apan ne mehnat karli ab sab kuch gd/pi aur kismat ke upar hai Mind: abe kuch bhi mat bol...mains (jo 75% weightage rakhta h) usme toh bigaad diya ....ab interview / pi par sab dal rha hai...mains accha deta to gd/pi sirf formality hoti.... Best of luck to all for results...
