My prediction for OBC- 41-42 and in worst case 42.5,it wont cross 43.

I have been posting again and again.. And in the light of ongoing discussions on work pressure in sbi. I would say, work pressure is there everywhere. Especially those who are from engg background and have Already worked in IT field have no right to comment about the work pressure of sbi. Because you are not only doing injustice to the bank but also to your education, your degree etc. If people had so many problems about banks why would they join banks leaving their so called glamorous IT jobs... Bank will test your patience. Don't join you are not up for it. I can talk about my personal experience, I am bcom finished guy that too from a local college. And I feel sbi salary is too good for me considering education. Once again I would like to warn you all!!!!!! Sbi job or for that matter any bank Job is not comparable with your existing IT jobs. You have to toil in villages, where you won't see McDonald's, pizza Hut etc. If you have the guts to face, if you are not of complaining nature. Then only join sbi. Period.
SBI PO is a very good job. If you work hard with passion and determination you are bound rise high in ranks quickly. Work pressure is in every job these days, people won't pay you unless you put your best foot forward. So guys and girls please don't let a negative image about job being created in your mind, it is the biggest bank of India you will be a part of it soon.

guys.. lets talk about what attracts people to SBI the most.. MONEY.
If someone joined sbi as po at the age of 24( more or less the average age) , then by the time he reaches 28/29 he would have reached wherever he does( dont know about posts) ... then from discussions I have found his salary would be something like this
65 in hand
around 10 deductions
around 7 for stuff like petrol and paper.
+ 30 for house
so around 1.12 laks per month..
now I will tell you about people about whom I know ...some people knnown to me have done their MBA from top 20 colleges in India.. and at the age of 28/29 earning only a slightly higher CTC . ( yes it is not bundled in the form of house and newspaper ..but CTC yes) .
BUT ..what they also have apart from that are:
MAASSSSIVE LOAN
job tension
job insecurity
and what not
and this will be the case for 80% of domestic mba'ers.. even from top IIMs there is an 80% chancce of getting a CTC of 12 lpa only.
and you will have also earned some money by then instead of just accruing up loan.
SO yes ... thats why SBI..
People here are making their opinion about SBI jobs. Even last year POs are putting their opinion here to make people aware about this job and warn us in advance so that later we could not regret for the same. Some says there is a lot of work pressure here and some says you will not get much time for yourself and for your family. And someone comparing with different jobs making this job is less significant than others like RBI grade B or some IT jobs or even RBI asst. Seeing all this I could not hold myself back to make my opinion for the same. I respect all of you and your opinion.
But in my opinion it varies individual to individual. It is upto us how we see things and set our priorities in our life. I have one great example with me i.e one of my best friends. He is 2015 batch SBI PO(got 50/50 gdpi). He never ever complained about this job instead he is enjoying the same. Let me tell you one thing even in the probation period he is boss of his branch I mean he is represnting his branch in any higher level meetings. Though his BM is very much efficient but because of his performance and interest in this job, he always send him for those meetings.Recently his name came in the local newspaper while banking ombudsman meeting in Patna. He solved one fraud case of making illegal transaction by someone online from other's bank account. Seeing his interest in banking, I am sure one day his name will come in the national newspaper too.
Many of us always complaing what we have and never value them much (Ghar ki murgi dal barabar). Yes of course there is a lot of opportunities out there for SBI POs other than this job but for those who are not suited for this job and let me tell you one thing job is always good and if someone says this or that job is not suited for him/her, I see it as most absurd arguement made by anyone except for some medically retard persons. If someone finds this job is difficult for him, he/she should try for some other jobs and go for that.But dont you think we all are aware of all this what difficulties we will face or what other options do we have. I think most of us know barring some novice in this field.
So friends I look SBI as an opportunity and I will be the most fortunate person if I make it. And at the same time I see SBI as shadi ke laddu jo na khaye wo pachtaye aur jo khaye wo bhi pachtaye ..kyo na khake pachtaya jaye.
So all the best friends for final result.
