after seeing all the marks of candidates of sbi po students..one thing was sure english was the deciding factor.is it possible to score near to 20 marks in sbi po prelims by practising books available in market like wren and martin or plinth to paramount by neetu singh or else we have to be expert by birth.if any students improved their marks and cleared the sbi po prelims by practising from books please post your experience in the comments section as it will help us in next year prelims section

Jinka selection nhi hua SBI PO me vo God ka shukar adaa kare aur koshish kariye RRB me PO baniye ...if u need peace and calm life lekin agar aap salary aur increment ko jaada value de rhe to SBI k liye lage rhiye....Choice us yours.... Ek suggestion aur Nationalized Bank me PO banne ka faayda jaada nhi hai usse better RRB me PO rhene ka hai... 2000-2500 ka antar h salary me bass...

I got 26.45/35 in english section.
I got 16/20 in GD.
My communication and verbal skills are also good.
But they give me 18/50 in descriptive. I have been giving exams since 3 years. I easily get 30-35.
My interview was quite good I answered everything they asked related to my engineering feild but I don't know why this happened...(no questions were asked to me related to banking)

Give idea friends. It's urgent. For me mains : 103 GD : 20/20 but in interview they put 8/30 . I did well in interview and GD both. While attending interview I am 9 months pregnant bro . So only they have reduced in a motive to avoid me.

anybody scored this much less in GD?? .. although i had a feeling that GD didn't go well.. just 3-4 ppl were discussing among theselves.. i tried to speak 2-3 times.. couldn't grab a chance.. but still managed to speak 2 times in that fish market.. and just once in GE.. even moderator also told angrily to not to discuss one to one.. but why others had to suffer????

This is to explain the selection process of SBI and the reason some candidates get very poor marks in PI.........
Marks in PI depend on how the panel perceives your personality, attitude, values, etc. Interview panel does not judge you on the basis of your knowledge. That is done in the Mains Exam. The panel tries to determine if you have the correct attitude and values to be able to work effectively in a banks's environment........
The panel rates candidates from 'most desirable' to 'least desirable'. If the 'most desirable' candidate needs 50/50 to be able to clear the final cut off then he/she is given those marks. On the other hand if the panel does not want a particular candidate then he/she is given very poor marks so that he/she does not clear the final cut off.........
This happens in SBI and not in IBPS........
However if you get exceptional marks in Mains you can get away with low marks in PI......
If you have scored poorly in PI it is probably because of something you did or said that raised a red flag for the interview panel.There are subtle things about our body language or things we say that may seem insignificant to us BUT are noticed and noted by the interview panel.......
As for people who think they did well in PI and were still given low marks I have one thing to say, You yourself cannot judge your performance in an interview. Interview is about how you are percieved by the other person. My advice to people who got low marks in interview is to give mock interviews. I am not implying anything negative about them. What I am saying is that there is something you guys did or said that made the panel dislike you. Feedback from mock interviews will help you resolve those issues...........
PS, This is the guidance I was given by a serving DGM of SBI. I got 46/50 in GDPI.........and to the best of his knowledge Interviews in SBI are not fixed. He however did not rule out the possibility.

Guys share your marks in SBI PO Lko panel ?? Are you also victim of low marks in gdpi ??
I am loosing my confidence on everything. I miss the final list by 0.59 marks. IBPS PO mains is approaching I cannot concentrate anymore. I know its wrong to ask but I need some validation from peers and friends and motivate me. I have enough responsibilities to look after my family too, everything seems so dark ahead.

Brothers and sisters of the PG those were left behind with miniscule of margins.... This perspective should not be ignored that there are many who got in with the miniscule margin as well, as I, myself have seen it. So, lurking in the hope of cases and pushing your way in will not lead to anywhere, as the past is witness. Prepare for next exams, otherwise ye bhi nahi aur wo bhi nahi...
