-I have a hobby of downloading latest software of different utilities and finding the cracks for them (especially Anti-Viruses). Now of I answer that this is my hobby, do I stand as a chance that I encourage piracy? If asked so, I am planning to tell them that 'if I buy something, we need not worry about it much.If that is a crack, there will be a lot of challenge as they will be fixing the bug and after that I search again for the newer crack and I enjoy taking this challenge.'
What say guys?? Throw some light on this please...

Piracy as a hobby is not a good thing to mention I think,It's good that you have that much interest but don't mention as that can lead your interview in a negative way, you can mention your talent in some other way such as mention WEB SURFING as hobby then if some one ask what does u surf ,Then be specific.

GD1 : topic was "INDIA IS A SOFT NATION" .
GD2 : a picture was shown on the slide showing books and an iPad.
Technical interview : Went OK. Not very good i wud say because of my not so good technical skills.Asked about project i was working on.
HR interview : The interviwer was a real nice guy. It was really nice toking to him. Was very polite and asked me about the CSR activity i was involved in which i had mentioned in the form. Everything will be asked from the form.

The interview process took around 4 hrs. There were apprx 80-85 students.

20 mins = Psychometric test(40 Qusn..the questions were of IIT-JEE screening level *) + Essay
*That was a bad bad joke..sorry
For guys having Work exp..they were askd mostly about their projects and to freshers basic programming quesns and summer projects were asked.
Slide is shown for abt 2-3 mins and then you have to speak about it whatever you comprehend .

I was in the morning batch .It took aprx around 4 hrs only.. we got free by 12:30. It'll max take 5 hrs ..not more than that.
The AdCom ppl are doing good job.

Had my GEPI today morning. over all it was a good experience.totally 96 people were supposed to be present for our batch, but i guess some 15 were absent. people were didvided into groups of 12. Initially we were asked to take a psychometric test of 40 question and a essay writing. we were given 25 minutes for both of them combined.
Essay topic was : PAPERLESS OFFICE - will it be a reality?
then two groups who were present there were sent to GE. I was on the third batch. our batch guys were made to attend the technical interview first and then HR interview and then we went on to the two GDs.
GD 1: TATA s' are the real icons of indian industries.
GD 2: A slide consisting of a picture of a KEYBOARD and a HAND CUFF over it was shown and we were asked to interpret it what ever way we liked it.
Technical interviews is mainly about Your current work exp and HR interview was mostly social and political topics along with regular HR questions.

u dont need to submit the non acad certficates.. the acad certificates need to be attested by gazetted officer or notary
1.Graduation, 10th,12th marksheets.
2.Work experience certificates ( Joining letter and the recent 2 payslips)

I had my GE/PI today in first slot i.e. 8:00 A.M.
I reached there well before and waited untill was called for registration process, I think total strenght was 80-85.
After registration we all were sent to one class room where we were given psychometric test and one essay
a) Psychometric test - It contained in all 40 questions and most of them we were really tricky, I advice you guys to be real as few questions contained same meaning, though in some different way.
2) Essay - Paperless office - will it be a reality?
Total time given for both activity was 20 minutes.
Then some of them were sent for Group discussion while others were for interview (technical and HR)
My experiences:
1) Technical interview : There was one lady who seemed to be one of the faculties.
Interviewer: Tell me about yourself.
Me: Told about my acads and project I worked on (in company)
Interviewer: Tell me more about your roles and responsiblities in projects you worked
Me: Explained
Interviewer: Do you want to ask something?
Me: I asked something about curriculum.
There was nothing much technical, she was more focused on What I did instead of How, much similar to black box testing
2) HR interview: Very experienced man in his late 50s
HR: Tell me something about your company?
Me: I told.
HR: What do you like about your company?
Me: Replied
HR: Is there something you don't like about your company? (Tricky)
Me: I told...
(There were some cross questioning here, but in friendly manner)
HR: Do you want to ask something?
Me: I asked him somethign about my company :-P
HR: Hmmm... Smart guy....
This was pointed towards me and I couldn't figure out what was that 
Then I was sent for Group discussion 1: some picture was shown (one school boy was trying to cover food grain sacks with one big plastic sheet) - I told somethng about food inflation and wastage of food grains , failure of FCI and Government.
Group discussion 2: Topic was - Punctuallity better then quality - Quite decent gd I would say as everyone had something to speak, one of the panelists asked some cross questions during GD itself and asked others ' opinion about view of someone else.
The whole process took 4 hrs.. Team was really helpful and faculties and panels were very friendly.
I feel one needs to be composed and confident with real self and that will suffice.
I will be leaving Pune today... Good luck puys... May you all rock

Total time given for both activity was 25 minutes.
Then i had a my interviews
Technical interview :
Panel: Tell me about yourself.
Me: blah blah blah !!!
Panel: Being an E&TC; engg Y did you like to opt for career in IT ?
Me: Explained
Panel: technical difference between 2g n 3g ??
Me: managed to give couple of differences (google kar lo)
Panel: any questions ?
Me: nope
HR interview:
Panel: Tell me something about yourself?
Me: blah blah blah !!!
Then she asked everything on my SCIT form (interests/hobbies, achievements, schooling, college, work ex)
My suggestion : Make a detailed study of the form u filled. :lookround:
GD1 : some picture was shown (A person solving a puzzle, he is inserting the right brick in the wall) - we were asked to discuss about the theme of the picture.
GD2: Topic was -Social Networking- Boon or a Bane - was a good GD... turned out to be a fish market twice. 
Was surprised to know that None of us was asked questions like "Why MBA ?", "Why SCIT ?"

- Would the attestation by Post-Master be fine?
