Hey MadreamMBA,
Can you now plz comment on 2 GE Process and Techinical Interview rounds??
GE process wuld consist of a group task. It could be GD based, or could be case study based discussion or could be a grp task. It all depends on the panel how they wanna conduct the GE sessions.. Be prepared for any surprises.
Technical interview consists of what u have done in ur final project, anything on the language u learnt, basic understanding of IT domain, and if u have work exp in IT so be ready to face questions on the work related queries....
First call of the season.
GE/PI Date: 3rd February 2011 12:00 Noon
SNAP Score: 96.75
10th Score: 82.93%
Diploma in Information Technology Score: 79.55%
Engineering in IT Overall Aggregate: 58%
Engineering in IT Final Year Aggregate (The one going to appear on degree certificate) : 62.26%
Work Experience: No work experience at all
Please somebody explain the selection procedure? Is it knock-out round? Is 93 overall cut-off on their site is the cut-off they're considering for making calls for GE/PI by considering 10th, 12th, Degree and Work Ex factors? Or these factors will be considered as one of the factors for giving admissions along with your SNAP score and GD/PI score?
Kindly some seniors elaborate the things in detail so we'll have clear idea about the procedure. Thanks in advance, any input in highly appreciated. 😃

Hi Parikh,
There is no other way out except you calling SCIT Admissions office tomorrow. Don't worry, there has to be a solution to this because a lot of ppl would face it involuntarily..So chill..:lookround:

No round is elimination round. U r judged at every stage n ur overall performance is seen. 93 score point was for last year's call i.e. for 2010. This year's criterion is not known to us as of now. Will let you know once we get the confirmation from college. But definately ur profile will be of immense importance in final conversion.

Mojo_jojo is known for his power to fight powerpuff girls n u say u can't excel in physical activity

Well don't worry it's not an IMA training. Grp activity wuld be to test whther u can work in a grp or not. Can u lead them? Can u communicate? These things are tested..
U will have to convince them that u can cope up with IT stuffs that's y u have come here..Start brushing up basics of IT. They are not expecting rocket science frm u...But basics is necessary for any building block.

Yes, i think so. My SNAP score is 109.75 and i also need to report on Feb 3rd at 8:00 AM. However, seniors or ART (Admissions Relations Team) must be the best person(s) to answer this.
Thanks and all the best for GE/PI :-P
