i am sql and oracle certified, so i have to do just basics or should i prepare everything whatever i have learnt because its almost 2 years that i have done those certifications...
MadreamMBA SaysNo round is elimination round. U r judged at every stage n ur overall performance is seen. 93 score point was for last year's call i.e. for 2010. This year's criterion is not known to us as of now. Will let you know once we get the confirmation from college. But definately ur profile will be of immense importance in final conversion.
Thanks a lot for the confirmation. I was a little bit worried as I'm not that good in GE/PI or to be honest, I just don't know at all because I have never faced any GE/PI in my life. You gave me some hope, see you in SCIT.
With the GE PI list out now, Would like to shoot a question. What would be the weightage given to SNAP score in the GE PI round... in the first place would they be considering the SNAP score at all? Is it that SNAP score is only considered for a GE PI call and later doesnt come into picture at all... (I believe this will not be the case)... do you have any idea of what the weightages would be for various factors???

1. GE will be there, does that mean there will be no GD?? or GD is also a part of GE?? :oops:
2. Any example tasks from previous years? so that we can get an idea what can be expected in GE task?
3. What type of questions can be expected in technical round? Questions related to engineering degree syllabus or related to projects for work exp guys?

Well if u have some IT touch it's always helpful in understanding concepts which u might find difficult during MBA. Anyways that shud not be a problem as long as u have passion to learn n if u can reflect the same in ur PI encounter.
U can very well defy the odds but the key is never bog down. Start brushing up fundamentals of IT. U can take help of any of ur friend who is anywhere related with IT.

There are two rounds in the GE/PI section and one question which is confusing me.
1. Psychometric Test- What kind of test can it be?
2.Technical Interview- What kind of questions are they going to ask as I have no knowledge of IT and come Mechanical Engineering background and also have work-experience not related to IT..
Can anyone throw some light on this technical interview?
I worked with Google in Geographic Information Systems as a vendor. Does that count to as IT related work-ex?

Don't worry no need to go for comprehensive study of everything all over again. Just have a cursory glance what u have learnt. They just want u to brief them abt wat all u know. & always try to take them in ur comfort area so that they start asking questions which u must b comfortable with...
