Yes, you can send your docs via courier.. I presume that for most of you it won't be possible to come down to the SCIT campus and submit your docs personally..
Once your DD has reached the Admissions Dept, they'll send you an acknowledgement mail.. So, don't worry..
And nowhere do you need to submit your originals (apart from the Migration Certificate)..

U can send the attested copy of the migration certificate & transfer certificate & get the originals for induction.

I called up SCIT office today some lady picked up, my questions and her answers are as below
1) Is proof of migration certificate mandatory while taking admissions , i told her i am from Mumbai Univ and even application will take some time because i have to go to college once and then to univ to apply.
Ans -> You write a application to the director saying you dont have it now but will apply for it before june, in june you have to give the proof that you have applied for it.
2) Can current payslip be submitted as work ex certificate, i havenot informed in office yet so i issues getting work ex certificate.
Ans -> You can submit joining letter and latest payslip in case you are working as a proof of expeireicne.
3) Can this all be sent via post.
Ans -> Yes can be sent by post, application to director can be sent by Post too.
PS: The lady who picked up the phone out there had issues comprehending when i spoke in english, i explained to her in Hindi too, but i doubt how much she understood, i even asked her kuch issue nahi hoga na.. she said Yes.
It would be great if some senior personally speaks and clarifies the doubts, the lady i spoke to sure had problems in understanding.

Apply for the migration certificate right away so that you can submit the same as soon as you get it. You can send a letter to the director mentioning the same. If your university provides some sort of an acknowledgement for your application for migration certificate, it would be better to attach a photostat copy of it along with the documents that you are sending.
I dont think you would have any confusion regarding the second point. If you dont have your work-experience certificate, then submit your joining/appointment letter along with latest pay slips now & once you get your work-ex certificate, submit that.
All this can be sent by Post.
The main intention of sending the request to director is to inform him about your case so that he can take it up with the university.

I am sure, you must have noticed latest placement stats uploaded on SCIT's website...Picture is very much clear for you guys and I am sure many of your questions got resolved now...Also to bring in your notice that all the fact mentioned presents absolute true picture,where not even fringe benefits or other cloudy allowances are included :-)...So analysis is very simple for you guys...Also to note,picture presented basically speaks of In-hand income/Take away salary:-) All the best..We are expecting even more steeper growth for our batch.. :-P.
