Don't worry.. It is quite a possibility that your DD might have reached here on Sat-Sun, when the Admissions Dept (in particular) is closed.. Call them up on Monday morning and ask them to drop you a mail of acknowledgement.. Or rather, you can drop them a mail asking for an acknowledgement of the receipt of the DD..

Immediately, i've called SpeedPost-Pune,was told that my post was sent to Hinjewadi Post Office yesterday evening(which i checked in their website tracking) and will reach SCIT today. At last,after a long wait (with tension) i got acknowledgement email from scit admissions saying they've received all required thgs,asked original Migration Certi while joining as i've sent it's attested xerox,which m gonna do in June 1st week...Thank God

Companies like Goldman Sachs,American express and any such good company, conduct GD-PI to select candidates for internship. My question is ..what kind of quesns are asked in PI.. do they ask pure technical questions? If anyone can share his/her experience during their placement interviews ..that wud be really helpful !

DUDE !!!! Chill..ur going too fast.. get into the college, get to know everyone, make friends, select ur specializations, learn ur subjects, clear ur exams, get shortlisted in the companies and THEN think about interviews.. its a long long road ahead. 😃 😃 dont worry so much !!

Boss..we need to be fast ..otherwise we'll be left behind 😃 The problem is that i am not that strong on the technical side so i am apprehensive about it..i just want to get an idea what kind of questions do they ask on technical front .. its a big decision my friend.. we won't be doing MBA again.. so i have to make a right decision..i hope u understand!

I cannot give u an idea on what kind of questions can interviewers from companies ask. The only reason being I do not know & obviously cannot predict. Companies aren't like entrance exams. They don't come in with model question papers or answer keys. It entirely depends on the company and the profile they are looking for. 😃
Shortlisting process is something which only the placement committee knows about and we don't have enough knowledge to disclose this as well, but logically the companies prefer shortlisting candidates rather than leaving this to the college 😃

As I said earlier.. Its entirely depends upon the company and the profile they are lookin 4 😃 There aren't any fixed category of questions. They might test ur technical proficiency if they are lookin for a technical profile or purely managerial if they'r looking for that. This is what i meant 😃
And yup, as my earlier post said, SCIT finds u considerably technically competent; more than hundreds of other candidates. So I dont think it'f be a problem for u or any candidate in interviews as noone expects hard-core technical expertise here. 😃

Just want a confirmation. 2) When are the full fee, hostel and other charges supposed to be paid? 3)For 1st year girls, I read somewhere that the hostel in inside the campus. Please confirm. 4) A very silly question : Do u get enough time for Gyming etc? 😉 im just excited.

1)yes, the first installment of the fees is Rs. 1,85,000 2) the hostel and other fees are included in the college fees itself. U pay one installment now and the 2nd installment during November or so(start of 2nd semester) 3) The ladies hostel as a whole is inside the campus itself. 4)Yes, we do get time for other activities as well, and most importantly u need to learn to make time 4 urself 😃 😃
5)The orientation/induction is scheduled on the 2nd of June for now, but u'l be informed formally about it later 😃

Could you please share some insight on ERP Course Study @ SCIT. I mean some points related to pedagogy, future prospects of the course, benefit of collaboration with SAP, etc.

thanks buddy , yes i wanted to be in IT so bad . I wish i had taken up IT education in my UG so would have been selected much earlier but never the less it feels good to be noticed now .

i thought the extended waitlist serial numbers were in continuation of the previous list ...your rank clears it completely that it's a fresh list.
