Now when you all have crossed the first hurdle and reached GE/PI level, myraids of doubts must be hovering ur mind like what shud I do, What I shudn't? How do crack next stages to conquer the game. So read further....

1) Psychometric test. (Written Test)

This comprises of questions which judges ur personality and hence a better indicator in personal round whether u r lying or you really mean it?

Around 30 questions to be solved within 15 mins. There is no right or wrong answers for such questions. It's about what & how you think.

e.g. You are asked by a manager to finish work & thn go home however u have to early today, what would u do?

a) Complete the work & then go
b) Take help of your friend
c) Explain ur emergency to ur manager
d) Don't listen to him

It's just gauges ur personality.

2) Group Exercise(GE)...

Group exercise is a process which measures ur group dynamics. It tries to gauge whther u can perform equally well in Grp as u do individually..Now what comes in GE...

a) Normal GD topic
b) Case based discussion
c) Group task: It's been newly introduced in the SCIT process this year. I tell u based out of my SIBM-Pune exp.

Say you are 9 members in a group & all blindfolded and are assigned no frm 1 to 9 randomly.Now u guys have to stand in a straight line but the constraint is you can't speak..


3) Technical Interview...

Don't get worried to see the word technical. At times u r not asked any technical stuff at all and at times u r grilled on the technical part. Just brush up basic IT stuffs. If u r a fresher then u might have to explain ur project work or anything related with ur IT background. For work ex people u have biggest weapon ur industry exp so exploit it to the fullest..

4) Personal Interview:

It's a general HR interview. So ur GK would prove to be advantageous here. At times u r cross checked with psychometric test here.

All process happens in SCIT campus only. So u will have to come down to SCIT and you can have a luk @ college too..wat say!!! :

2 Hotels are at a walkable distances but might be heavy on your pocket..

Hostel is meant for SCIT students only however u can stay in Guest rooms if they are available. I need to check availability for that.

As the placements must be up by now, there hasn't been made any official announcement of 2009-11 batch on the site.
