This time rounf. SCIT would not allow change in dates for the GE/PI rounds.
If your dates are clashing with other Symbi institutes, you can get it changed there

It wont be possible to reconsider your case for the GE/PI rounds
The only alternative you have would be to apply to SCIT through the Management Quota

I have SCIT scheduled on 4th Feb. Now its cumbersome and a burden on the pocket either to have 2 round trips or stay for more than a week in Pune. Is there a way this can be fixed ?? Kindly help..

i am not able to understand that how come scit's cutoff have dropped so much. even below new college like ssbm..
last year they have 20 marks for expereince and engineering.
still one had to score 73 for getting a call lat year..
but this when other symboisis institues cutoffs is increasing.
why there is such a fall in SCIT???

you can drop a mail to [email protected] chk if its feasible in ur case???

I have dropped in a mail to the admissions department of SCIT for a change in the GE/PI slot.
But I have not received any reply from them till now. I believe that the college had an off today and will have tomorrow also.

Seniors, please let me know if the change will take place for the slots for some cases, where we have multiple calls from Symbiosis institutes on the same day.

I am really worried about my situation.

Well mate I had a dropped a mail yesterday but there is no response yet. Tried their contact numbers as well but no one responded. I reckon they should come up with a solution because lots of guys will have calls from SITM and they all will feel the same need because if Symbi can't arrange GE/PIs in metros, then atleast efforts should be made from their end to ensure that the candidates do not face problems. I know it cannot be possible for all the candidates because many ppl would have calls from more than 3 instis. & in that case it would be difficult to have back to back GE/PIs...but when there is a possiblity for slot changing to Schedule II(10-12 Feb), it should be taken care of...:lookround:

now the cut off is in 60 s and i have 75 with 2 yrs exp

now scit website says

We thank you for your interest in Symbiosis Centre For Information Technology.
The application process for 2010-2013 is over.
The candidates who are interested please contact SCIT.


will scit accept it now...

Hi Seniors,

I Got 75 in SNAP, 66.66 in BE(Mech), 72.0 12th, 54.2 in 10th. Along with that i have 3 + yrs of exp in MNC IT .The only thing that worries me is my avg marks in 10, 12, BE. How big will these impact my admission in SCIT?

What is distance from pune railway station to SSBM and SCIT?
What will be fare if cab or auto or bus available?
Any budget hotels available there because i cant spend much on them?

Please help me out puys.. feeling bit tense about them...
