What about Psychometric Test & GD as I never before face it in my life..??

Got call for GE/PI...in that they have asked for attested copy of all the documents...can anyone confirm whether those attestation will be by a Govt officer or will those be self - attested ...

Get it attested either by a notary or by govt officer.

i am not able to understand that how come scit's cutoff have dropped so much. even below new college like ssbm..
last year they have 20 marks for expereince and engineering.
still one had to score 73 for getting a call lat year..
but this when other symboisis institues cutoffs is increasing.
why there is such a fall in SCIT???

80% of the senior batch is placed at gud profiles. Stats wuld be up on the site as soon as the whole batch gets placed.

One third of our batch has got interns and process is going on.

Slot-4th Februry.

I have registered for SIBM Pune & SCIT only,now that SIBM cut off was very high.I am going for SCIT now.

But some of my queries-

1)Its written there at the SCIT site that candidates are required to be conversant in IT for all specializations. I have done my BE from ECE,will that have an effect on it.

2)Second SCIT has hostel accomodation,is that available for all the students{compulsory or not},how many students share rooms{means single,double} in hostel.

Please friends kindly answer these 2 queries.

Congrats for the call...

1) Not necessary. U just need to have a basic understanding of it. U can take specializations which doesn't have much technical stuffs but a lil bit of technical things u will have to face...

2) yes it'a a residential MBA program. U r not supposed to stay anywhere apart frm hostel. Juniors stay out of the campus which is at walkable distance and in 2nd year u shift in the main campus. Hostel rooms are quite spacious. 3 students share room.

Now the problem is that the cut off is 63.75 and I had not applied.
I would be grateful if any senior could personally convey my query to SCIT and get me a solution.
Although,I have mailed to them but still felling very helpless.
I am interested to do MBA in IT specialisation only,hence I am so much worried about SCIT.

College is closed 2morrow so will talk with admission dept on monday & will let u guys know.

hi puys,

I have an observation here like, people have been called in the order of their SNAP score. i guess all those who have been called on feb 3rd and feb 4th have higher SNAP score than others.
this is my personal inference. no harms.

Therefore, i guess changing the dates from feb 3rd or 4th or 5th to the consecutive week may (i stress) may have an impact on final admission results..

Agian its just a thing i noticed, not intended to hurt any one.

This time rounf. SCIT would not allow change in dates for the GE/PI rounds.
If your dates are clashing with other Symbi institutes, you can get it changed there

We cross checked with the admission cell on your issue
It wont be possible to reconsider your case for the GE/PI rounds
The only alternative you have would be to apply to SCIT through the Management Quota
