Sentence Correction for CAT 2012

(A) Is this sentence correct?

The post of chief justice of India can also be brought within the ambit of the Judicial Inquiry bill, which is more parliament.

If im correct there is no word like parliamentry? I've often heard people say 'unparliamentry language'..

(B) There was this sentence:

A leader who comes to power vowing to provide squeaky clean governance finds himself embroiled with scandals over cash-for-peerages and flagrant cover-up for corruption.

What's wrong with this statement? Is it the word often to be used before finds or a some agreement error in first clause and then the second part that begins with finds..

Amresh bhai __/\__ Bhai the best trick is to use HE/SHE for WHO and HIM/HER for WHOM and check.Whichever satisfies will be the answer.

Sachin,____ they say is the best batsman,is a great person.

Here, you can form the sentence HE IS THE BEST BATSMAN.We cannot say HIM IS THE BEST BATSMAN.So we have to use WHO.

TO _____ should I give the gift?

Frame the sentence like this- I should give the gift to HIM/HER.

In the above sentence,we are using HIM/HER.

So WHOM will be used in the original sentence.

To WHOM should I give the gift?

In case of more doubts, tag me :)

The panel narrowed the field of applicants to the three ______ it thought WERE best qualified for the position.
.
.
.
The three applicants were best qualified for the position.
.
.
The three applicants = THEY
.
.
.
THEY ( not THEM) were best qualified for the position.

As we are using THEY,WHO will be used in the question. :)

PARLIAMENTARY is a valid word.It is an adjective.

A leader who comes to power vowing to provide squeaky clean governance finds himself embroiled with scandals over cash-for-peerages and flagrant cover-up for corruption.

The bold shows the errors. The errors lie in the usage of prepositions.

ok...i also had similar doubt...so, what u r saying is that in sentence :Sachin,____ they say is the best batsman,is a great person...i pick the part "they say is the best batsman" and insert he/him and likewise,right?..
