On the second day, 2 paintings plus 1/7 th of the remaining paintings were sold. A similar pattern continued till the kth day, when 'k' paintings were sold and no painting was left after that. If the exhibition ran for exactly k days (k > 1), then what is the minimum number of paintings sold during the exhibition?

In a group of 200 people, number of people having at least primary education: number of people having at least middle school education: number of people having at least high school education are in the ratio 7 : 3 : 1. Out of these, 90 play football and 60 play hockey. Also, 5 in category III (people having high school education) and one-fourth each in categories I and II (people having primary school education only and people having middle school education but not high school education, respectively) do not play any game. In each of the above categories, the number of people who play only hockey equals the number of people who play only football. Two persons each in categories I and II and one person in category III play both the games. Two persons who play both the games are uneducated (category IV). Five persons in category III play only hockey.

Out of 100 schools in a town, the number of schools having a playground was 30, and all these schools had neither a library nor a laboratory. The number of schools having a laboratory only was twice the number of those having a library only. The number of schools having either a laboratory or a library or both was 35.

There are two containers A and B. A contains n litres of pure milk and B contains n litres of water. One litre of pure milk is transferred from A to B. Now 1 litre of the solution from B is transferred back to A. The ratio of water to milk in the 1 litre transferred from B to A is k. Once again, 1 litre of the solution is transferred from A to B. Which of the following is equal to the ratio of water to milk in this transferred one litre , In terms of "n" and "k" ?
