Is it necessary to have semester/year wise marks sheet for graduation? My colleges provides us with combined grade report for four years and upload every semester in the web portal!.

@ZwariorSid i think as mentioned on the website the marks will be scaled down to 40({SNAP SCORE/ 180} *40)

The weightage for SNAP Test is 40 %. Assuming the scoring to be relative, a person with 90.122 (cut-off) will get 0 marks out of the stipulated 40?
Please see the reply from @sumit.gandhi18 below... He got the drift. 😃

Bring all the 4 consolidated marksheets (original and the said no of attested copies in the mail which you will get) . Wont be a problem.

Guys, just a small update: We at SIBM B, are having an important (internal) day today... Its the Student Council Elections for the year 2013-14. So, pardon us if we are offline for today for most of the times..Will get back to your queries asap, but if any urgent issues crop up, do call the admissions deptt and/or mail them for a quick redressal.

Yup Very True.AFAIK
@lanscer I will suggest strictly Formals! Shows your professionalism and seriousness!

@chandni27 without admit card, they may not allow at all since they are very strict, so find it out asap, for salary slip, it would be having the Company Name and logo at he top I presume, so printed salary slip would do!

anyone??

snap ka original admit card to samajh me aaya ki jisme jis admit card ko exam hall me le gaye the wahi lana hai(invigilator ki sign aur symbi ke stamp wala) but ye original snap score card kya hai..scorecard me kahan se stamp lagwau??

@Mithles m in..15th feb..1pm noida

@jaisaibaba Original SNAP score card just means the one that you get online..Take a print... and that will be it..

I am repeating the below again:

1. Original SNAP admit card (Stamped by SIU invigilator) is a must. No candidate will be allowed for the process without it.

2. No GE/PI city change is allowed.

Please note that the above two are not my rulings, they have been decided by the Admissions Department and are mentioned here just to make things clear for everyone.

Hi seniors,

For 1 p.m. slot. Any idea by what time(max) will the whole process end?
I have to book the train tickets.
Thanks
@SunilBisht Maximum of 6:30 PM

hey seniors!! could you please elaborate on the dress code for girls, including footwear? 😁 Also, could you please tell me how to go about the prep for gd pi? I am reading as much as possible, but tips and imp points would be welcome. Also, do we have to fill in the annexure during the gd pi or before coming there? Please reply soon 😃 thanks!

The dress code for Girls would be either complete western formals OR Salwar etc would do just fine 😃

Please do not come in jeans/informal shoes etc which may not deem fit for a B school interview.

About the annexure, I am not sure whats inside it- will confirm and let you guys know...

Some GE/PI Tips:

GE: Group Exercise as they call it, can be either Group Discussions, some case study, scenarios etc or any combination of these depending on the interviewers.. Be prepared for surprises that may crop up on the D day.

For Group Discussions, here is what I feel are things often repeated, yet undermined:

1. Always have a pen and paper handy- We will give a page for your perusal, but your notepad can always come handy.
2. Make sure your posture and body language is positive- Please do not sit in a way that may show you are not interested or in a way that may suggest you are not your natural self (basically dont try too hard as well).
3. Understand the topic first before speaking- A basic mistake many people do in a GD is that they rush to start the discussion without even understanding it. Sometimes, people start with one stance in the GD and then when they say anything again, it turns out to be contradictory. So, gather your thoughts well (in the first few seconds/mins) and then make bullet points that you are gonna speak. It helps you be organised and keeps your thought process clear.
4. Listen- to what others are saying. Agree, and add your perspective or disagree politely and add your justification to it. Either way, never make it a one-on-one conversation. Talk to the group- everyone and suddenly you will feel that you have got your job half done.
5. Jot down all the points anyone in the group is saying- you may be randomly asked to summarise or you yourself may want to do it at the end of the discussion...
6. Data and statistics are good- but dont just throw numbers at the group without any credible reference to the source.

Contd..... 😃

I think its better if we all try to practice some GD topics here on the thread itself..

So, I will open a topic for discussion and you guys may start with your perspectives on it.

Please mention in your post whether you are speaking for the motion or against the motion (in case of debatable topics).

I hope this might be a lil bit useful for the process...
