Sometimes Panelists want a complete picture of the candidate and his capabilities.
This might be via a Groupd Discussion/Group Activity, Group Exercise, etc.
Depends on the panelists on the day of your GE/PI.

'Social Media: An Overrated Tool of Change': Till now there haven't been many cases in which social media has been catalyst. You can count that candle march and some bitter updates but that really matters ? what have you changed by doing that ? Social media was designed for desperate and lonely people without not much physical social interaction to pass the time. Not a binary line of code can be a tool for change. Take example of Arab uprising, it was possible when all the citizens were on street and see our case of one innocent-girl case, we were posting on facebook and some people were there with a candles which did nothing and its a cold-thing now. Please get over with these Social Media and try to connect physically which is the best tool- ever.

Please ask your friend if he/she has all the semester marksheets and other related documents in place or not. If yes, then he/sh is eligible for an interview with SIBM B at least.

Hi, I have GD/PI of SIBM B on 16th Feb, at Noida.I have got 96.22 percentile in SNAP, 18 months work exp. in European IT Multinational.
I have one query regarding SIBM Blr. SIBM Blr have strong legacy of SIBM Pune, and SIBM Blr also have strong support of SIU; what about Career profiles and roles offered here? Future prospects ... and growth? As institute doesn't yet have strong Alumni Base (as just 5 yrs of inception), what is the industry foothold of SIBM Blr?

Career Profiles are pretty good here and rising.
Alumni ,as of now, is getting stronger by the minute and have helped us a lot in placements.
The Industry Foothold is excellent, considering how new a college we are-and pretty decent when you look at the overall picture.

@nikhilbrad as certification frm dfc is nt recgnised by ugc even though its a 3 yr course its nt a grad degree

Yes, Operations as a specialization is available at SIBM-B apart from Finance, Marketing and HR.

The details and subjects for the course is available on our website. The placement figures are also available on the website.

From the people I knew and my friends, companies recruited for various profiles including consultancy, supply chain management, strategy, retail management etc.

That is solely up to the imagination of the panel. The point of GD isnt only to solicit eye-opening statements from the members who debate. It is also to look for certain behavioral traits, mannerisms and the delivery of the person.

Expect anything, maybe on the recent Delhi r**e case or maybe India's cricketing woes. That's the beauty of it. It's just a random topic!
