@nikhilbrad said:@jaisaibaba Original SNAP score card just means the one that you get online..Take a print... and that will be it..
I am repeating the below again:
1. Original SNAP admit card (Stamped by SIU invigilator) is a must. No candidate will be allowed for the process without it.2. No GE/PI city change is allowed. Please note that the above two are notmyrulings, they have been decided by the Admissions Department and are mentioned here just to make things clear for everyone.
Sorry guys, I personally cannot help in my capacity regarding the original admit card issue.
@shashanksharma9 i am a fellow aspirant like you...
Also, please dont repeat my lines...comeup with something of your own...:P
@nikhilbrad Hello Sir,
We puyz are trying to get it resolved by calling to the admissions office.
We all would really appreciate if you could bring out an alternative...
PS :- this problem is faced by a lot of people....3 of them i know personally....
PLEASE HELP....
@nikhilbrad said:Original stamped SNAP admit card is a MUST. Noone without the document shall be allowed for the process.. Again, this is something outside my purview. Please do not ask me to contact the management and get the rule changed. Also, do not quote other college's decision on this regards- Lets talk only about SIBM B.
Guys, the stamp has to be there (not from any Gazetted officer) from the SIU invigilator.

My GE/PI Experience: (I know it was long due): May help all the aspirants
Date: (19th February 2011):
Venue: Bangalore
Time:8:30 AM, I reached the campus at 8:00 AM, was asked at the main gate to go to 6th floor, pretty excited seeing the beautiful campus, I found the seniors who asked me to sit at the mentioned location. There was a brief introduction about the college. I had 8 other people in my group and we started interacting to each other. This actually made the air little light as every one was little tensed.
Group Exercise:
We first had a GD: Topic: 'Should the Black Money in foreign banks be brought back'
The group was nice and every one gave each other a chance to speak and many good points were raised like why bring that money, how can it be utilized, corruption, the remedy etc..
In the next round we were shown a picture, and then we were asked to think as a group about that picture and make a story and then choose a representative who will narrate that story in 2 minutes.
Note: The panelists closely watched all of us during the group exercise and our activities, remarks and conversation were monitored.
Interview: There were three panelists in Interview, two were from the Industry and one was the then deputy director.
P: So what was your favorite subject in school?
I: (What?? is that an interview question!!) Physics
P: Mention the three Newton's Laws of Motion.
I: ummm (After 5 years how do I remember what I read in class 12th 😛 and I thought they would ask some thing on my work-ex). Finally I told the third law first and then was some how able to tell the other two laws
P: So tell again the third law
I: For every action there is equal & opposite reaction
P:How do you implement or relate this in MBA and Management.
I: (wth, am I doing MBA already, how do I know!!) Finally told some gyaan, which I knew the panelists were not convinced with (I knew I won't be selected from their sarcastic smile
P: So you are from Bihar?
I: Yes
P: who do you like, Nitish Kumar or Lalu Yadav?
I: Nitish Kumar and waited for the obvious question
P: Why?
I: Told the general gyaan
P: Why is Lalu Yadav so famous in Bihar?
I: Told some thing like crowd engagement, taking the crowd with himself and speaking crowd's language and related it with manager's qualities.
P: Tell us the new rail policies implemented by Lalu Yadav?
I: (Hardly had I read, which was almost 4-5 months back), recollected whatever I could and told.
P: Why so many people from TCS are applying for MBA? Is TCS a bad organization to work for?
I: (TCS a bad organization to work at, really?? ), gave some gyan and related it to why MBA
P: Thank you, do you have any other question to ask?
I: Asked about the challenges faced in MBA.
Finally the interview was over, I thought it's over for me, I am not going to get a call. Came out and the seniors actually encouraged me and said to remain hopeful.
Result: Got a call in the merit list
Tips: We already had decided as a group that we won't make it a fish market and it actually helped. All of us got a chance to speak, those probably those with valid points got extra marks and the group over all got the extra marks for not making it a fish market.
In the interview,
1. Do not bluff, since there are very senior people from the corporate who can easily catch.
2. If you are not able to answer a question, mention that you don't know, and move on. Do not get nervous that you were not able to answer. It's perfectly alright not to know an answer.
3. Keep your answers crisp and to the point.
Feel free to ask questions and we will be happy to reply! All the best! :)
