(Article on Make in India) India is a developing country. The economy of developing country is based on service sector which does not have as much sustainability and robustness as the economy with manufacturing dominance. To help Indian economy become more sustainable, government of India has launched a program "make in India". This program basically focuses to encourage both domestic and foreign companies to establish manufacturing units in India. It was launched on 24 September 2015. To make this program a great success, government is making all possible efforts to create a positive environment for the investors by simplifying investment procedures and also licencing norms. To support this cause , skill India program is also initiated which will help the young generation to get hold of particular skill, as per their aptitudes. To provide platform for foreign players foreign direct investment limit in key sectors such as defence, pharma, railways is also increased. Infact there has been positive response since the launch of this program. While countries like China are struggling on economic front India has shown significant surge in foreign direct investment in the year 2015 which Indicates India as a bright spot on global economic front. It shows that we are on the right path. But is that as much as easy at it look like? Are we really ready to sustain the possible revolution in India's economy? There are certain questions which need to be answered. Before inviting foreign and domestic investors we need to be make sure that investors interests must be protected. Land acquisition bill, which is pending in parliament for quite some time must be cleared as soon as possible. The products manufactured at domestic level must ensure quality standards of international level to get able to stand against firms of developed nations. There are many other questions which must be answered in time. We have great potential and resources but efficient utilisation of them is all we need to convert a pipe dream into reality.

Role of media in good governance
Media now known as the forth pillar of democracy. In a country like India which is the largest democracy,Media plays a very important role in various aspect in the country ranging from showing inefficiency of rural areas to implementation of regulation in Industry.
Media is broadly divided into two types : one is print media and another is electronic media. But now a days Social media came into existence due to increasing internet users through out the world. All these type of media is having its own significance.
Media plays a medium between the people and the government as it works reaching the voice of people to govt.It also questions if govt. come up with new programs and it is debated and then it can be in the better form ,implemented. When the Natural disaster happens , at this point of time media plays very important role to send the voice of people to the govt. and accordingly govt take
a corrective measures. The recent example is Chennai Deluge where media plays a great role as voice of the people.
Now a days social media is very much effective and active. In the era of internet most of the people are connected with internet. Govt. came up with new idea to reach the masses and to hear their voices and opinions about any new policy which govt. come with. These new policies put onto their respective websites where there is a column where people can write their view about programme and give their opinion and if possible some recommendation also. Through this our democracy get strengthened as it fulfills the principle of democracy. By taking the opinion of people govt can take a better step for the people.
Not only this we can also say where govt cannot reach, media reach there and show the actual condition of the people living there and by this it serves two purpose:first it shows the pathetic condition of far flung areas, rural areas where govt schemes ,programmes is not reaching in proper manner due to connectivity and if it reaches it is inefficient due to so many middleman and corruption. The recent Example is Implementation of NFSA act 2013. and secondly it asks govt to reach there and serve the people of this area who has also voted for the govt.
From all the above discussion it can be seen that media plays a very important role and it serves the interest of the people and also act as questioning the authority and by doing this it helps in Good governance.
Friends please review this essay and give suggestions.
