1. track record of 2011 batch placements and packages....
2. fee of course...
3. where the gd/pi will be held...
4. strength of a batch...
5. and yes what is the edge of siescoms over other colleges??

@deathmachine 1. almost 58 students gt placements frm the batch of 60 and yes with highest package of 9.5 lakhs and avg of 5.5 lakh and minimum of 3 lakhs.....and talking abt 2012 batch even in the time of recession.....our students are well placed in some the best companies.....
2. fee is Rs. 3,80,000......less amongst the top B-schools bt still wid best facilities
3. GD/PI will be held in almost all the metro cities like mumbai, delhi, kolkata.....
4. 60 students
5. SIESCOMS is one of the oldest colleges amongst other.....with very strong alumni....in top companies whch cn alwys help the juniors to get desired placements.......

@neil7 thank you very much indeed.... just a small query- its mentioned that fee is 2 lakh per annum for pharma mba.... but u have mentioned 3.8....is it including hostel??

also how much is the competition to get a seat in pharma pgdm???

@deathmachine : according to the new revised fees structure...from this year its 2 lakh per annum...summing to the total of 4 lakh for the course...collge doesn't provide any hostel bt helps in givng accommodation near by collas far as competition goes it depends upon upon the shortlisting of candidates for PI...bt again it all depends hw well u perform....good competitive score..academics...performance in GD/PI...all is condidered...t.c

I have a mat feb score of 644.5(83%),cmat feb score of 126,have 54% in 2nd year b.com(hons) from Calcutta University,will be appearing for final exam next month.Already filled SIESCOM application form and sent..what are my chances of admission?

@A.D as mentioned earlier,the college looks into all the aspects from the competitive examz to the academics and how well do u perform in ur GD/PI...a cumulative score is thus taken and den the final list comes out...so don't worry at all...fair chances are there...just gve ur best in GD/PI thats it...all the best...

thanks @devyani89..I know its not only based on previous scores but it does carry some weight..So was asking in general that apart from GD/PI performance,how are my chances on the basis of my scores?would be thankful if U could shed some light.

@A.D dont worry u hv gt good enough score to be in the competition.....so just stop worrying abt the score and prepare for GD/PI......as it will also play a fair role in ur selection......Best of luck...:)

@Deangirl theres no as such cut off marks declared by SIES......u just have to pray that u are better thn the other students who have also applied......as the selection is been done on the basis of aggregate marks of ur any competitive exam and ur round of GD/PI......so just give ur best.......bt definitely less thn 75 % in MAT or neother xam will lower ur chances as competition is tough and this year we are xpecting it to be more thn tht......so best of luck and do well..... :)

actaually my Feb CMAT score is 101 so m not even thinking of applying for SIES should i apply? for PGDM course

@Deangirl dnt wrry just apply for it.....rest perform good in GD/PI so tht u get good average......i mean competitive enough to get into SIES......bt rest decision depends on u.....whatever u feel right.....:)

so u mean it is possible that with such a score i get to give GD/PI? n my actual selection will depend upon my GD/PI and cmat score together? as in the average of that ?

@Deangirl yes every1 gets a chance to give GD/PI.......so u r also eligible to give it......ye ur actual selection will be on the basis of ur average marks of GD/PI , ur 10-12th marks.......plus the competitive xam score.....and if experience thn tht also......
