n thnx fr the info.......
In SIIB prospectus, they have not asked for work experience or academics or extra curricular activities. So how they judge the students without knowing the caliber of individuals?
Regards
Hi,
You do have to mention abt ur work-ex ,acads etc. in filling in the online form. ..Relevant work experience and acads certificates will be verified at the time of GD/PI if u r shortlisted
Cheers !!!

gurleen kaur Saysany idea about the cut offs...not only siib but also scmhrd and sibm
Hello Gurleen,
Last yr the aggregate cut-off for MBA-IB at SIIB was around 76...its really tough to predict the cut-offs this year but u can think of applying if u expect a score of around 60+ in SNAP,provided u have a decent profile.:)
For queries related to any other institute, pls ask it on their respective threads
Cheers !!!

there's this link on siib site "online registration admission 08-10"
enter ur snap id n email then complete ur acad n work ex info
This is SEPARATE from online payment. unless u register here its incomplete.
PS. i got this sms from siib this morning tht my registration was incomplete despite sending my prospectus' form earlier. only then i came to know bout this link! :)
cheers!

HEY!!!
i am an external student of Pune University, with work exp. of more than two years, do i have a chance to get a call from SIIB?
Hi,
Your chances of getting a call is entirely dependent on ur SNAP score,acads,work-ex etc..It wud be better if u cud post ur expected score in SNAP and then we can predict ur chances

Cheers !!!

Yes,the written communication involves a short essay writing on fairly easy topics ..there was no summary writing of GDs last year

I would suggest you to apply since there r no sectional cut-offs for SIIB (confirmed this frm an SIIB student) also they prefer students with work-ex. So my two cents don't think abt Rs 1200 its better 2 apply then to regret over it later......:)
Hi All,
In the SIIB prospectus, it is written that we need to submit our migration certificate.
Is it really required because i have passes out in 2006 and currently i am working, so why do i need to submit a migration certificate?
please help me to understand this.

Hi Naina,
You do have a chance of getting a call for GD/PI...So,its better to fill up the form now rather than to repent later if the cut-off turns out to be low...and once short-listed,the SNAP score has a weightage of just 30% in the final selection ..so ur chance of getting selected wud be greatly determined by ur performance in GD/PI etc. :)
