hello sir, am scoring around 70-75 in SNAP.......plus i have 18 months of experience in a IT company.....satyam computers..... where i hve worked in different projects as a team member with different roles assigned each time.......sometimes a tester/ developer/ documentation......... my graduation details are : 10th - 80.80% 12th - 76.00% B.E (Chemical) - 6.87/10.00 (CGPA) sir, i have not particpated in many of the technical/ non technical events durin my college.....but was a member of few clubs/ societies and won very few inter year dramatic competitios......... so can u plz lemme know whether i stand any chance of makin into SIIB........... thnx...........
Hi Rahul,
You have a gud chance of getting short-listed for GD/PI cos of ur SNAP score and a decent profile...Once u get a call,its entirely ur performance in GD/PI/Group task etc. that will determine whether u make it or not...Its an advantage if u have participated in any of the extra-curriculars ..just make sure that u talk abt them in ur PI and utilize them to showcase ur strengths :)
hi puys i have sent the form by post to the siib office and have subsequently filled the online form, i just wanted to know the status of my application....... will i get any confirmation of my form acceptance through mail??? Please guide me...

Are we suppose to fill the form with a black or a blue ball point pen? Asked this coz its not been mentioned. Please advice.

hey nisha.. receipt is nt required.. at all .. just send the from which is enclosed with SIIB brochure that u have purchsed from any coaching centres..

You will not get any sort of acknowledgement..However,if u want to be sure whether ur form has been recieved u can call up the admissions helpdesk and get it confirmed...else u can PM me ur details(name,SNAP ID,Form no.) and i'll get this done for u :)
dude,i had a chat with the ims ppl from where i had purchased the form , they said it's not a problem as siib has multiple channels to verify the authenticity of the form....but i'am still a little anxious so i think it is better to contact the admissions office at siib n ask for a clarification....

There are four steps in the Phase II of selection process..They would be
Group Discussion
Interviews
Written Communication
Group Test
Last year,the Group task went like this...we were divided into groups of 4 each...we were provided with some geometrical figures and everyone was suppose to form a square with their pieces...we cud give our extra pieces to anybody in the group but cud not ask for any piece..and ofcourse the basic condition was that nobody was allowed to speak or communicate with gestures with anybody else during the entire task which lasted for around 10 mins :)

1st year -Rs 2,30,000/- 2nd year -Rs 2,25,000/-
This does not include the cost of the visit to Germany for the exchange program...u have to pay separately if u are interested in going

Jst one clarification here. The trip to Germany is not open to everybdy who can pay for the trip. A team from German college visits our collge and there are proper interviews and due weightage is given to ur performance in SIIB also. So one has to wrk to be a part of that team goin to Germany
In SIIB prospectus, they have not asked for work experience or academics or extra curricular activities. So how they judge the students without knowing the caliber of individuals?
