Neelabh and all fellow SIIb seniors..u guys are doing a gr8 work!! u sure r collecting a lot of blessings..

i got a score of 79.75,and have around 17 months experience as a quality control specialist (testing) in IBM...
Do i have a chance for a call?

also, do we have a separate thread running for GD/PI for this year? i did see the one for last year but cudnt locate any for this year...

can ny1 gimme the link for the same?

if there is no such thread..can we have the same started!?

Can someone tell me whether siib is also following any sectional cut off...
i ve got 70 in snap. the only problem is that i ve got 5.75 in quant..

and that too because of my center's mistake.. there was a total mismanagement and we all ended up loosing some good 15 minutes becuz we were alloted our papers late.. and then did not give us extra time to fill in our particulars!!!
:-(

now am at total loss.. can someone from siib itself throw some light on this!!

The chances of u gettn a call are pretty high..... This i am speaking considering the last year cuttoffs and the projected cuttoffs for this year by various institutes...... As far as the thread for GD/PI goes, it wil be started once the list for the same is out... Varun

We had a word with the guys sittn in the office... N they have said tht sectional weightages won't be given. Bt the chances havn a sectional cutoffs especially whn score is very less in one of the principal sections is quite less can't be ruled out. I guess u have to wait till the list is out. All the best to u. Varun

Tough call to make in ur case. Hope for the best. It wil be touch and go especially there has been huge applications for the college this time round.

Without work ex and non engineering back ground (in case it is) wont help ur cause. This i am sayn cos engineers/CAs and ppl with work ex have and additional advantage. Can be tough 4 u

Can be a touch and go case. Bt can be a cause of concern in ur case if u r not an engineer/CA etc

Acads have been very good in School and decent in College.

Please refer to the SIIB website..they have specified the cut-off for each sections... its 20%,20%,20% & 25%

Guys,pls note that there are no sectional weightages assigned by SIIB to different sections and neither do we have any sectional cut-offs.

SIIB calculates its score on the basis of total SNAP marks+marks for acads,professional qualifications and work-ex.

So dont worry if u've low scores in any section...u still have a chance provided ur aggregate score is gud.
