Guys.. to be very frank.. plz take our word as an indication . Wht ever we are sayn is on the basis of last few year's trends along with the projections tht have been made at various fronts plus factoring in various variables. I knw its very anxious moments for all. Start preparing for GD/PI etc even if ur score is a 50-50 case cos once the list is out, there is nt much time to prepare

I have read that SIIB gives weightages to Work EX...Grads Back grnd as well in th final score..
they add some weightage to the snap score..the weightage added are-
if u have 80+ in degree ---3
70+ 2
60+ 1
1 marks for each year of work ex for a max of 3
For Educational Background : CA / ICWA - 4 marks, Engineers / B.Sc (Agri) - 3 marks ,
Electronics / Computers / Food Technology - 2 marks
My score:
General English: 17
Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency 12.5
General Awareness: 11
Analytics & Logical Reasoning 26
Total 66.5

You are right in calculating your aggregate score based on the weightages..but pls note that these were for last year..these weightages may change this year ..also,there is no consideration for students from Pune university..everybody is treated equal ;-)
Having said this,your chances of getting a call are not totally ruled out :smile:

Im not sure whether or not my form has been received at instt end..

I have applied for SIIB by taking the printout of the pdf.
I sent it through courier on 5 th Jan and it might have reached SIIB on monday, Jan 7.
The problem is that the pdf didnot have any form no. and my SNAP ID is 790511.
Can any one tell me how to know the status of the application?

Is it suppose to be a specific formatted certificate written by the HR?
or the offer letter provided by the company at the time of joining( which has the joining date) and last month's Payslip copy would do?:confused:

last year they did allow some reallocation.... but it was very rare with genuine reasons....
also last year there were 4 centres 2 this year only PUNE....
the dates r 1/2/3 or 8/9/10....
seniors pls help.... how will the dates b alloted...
name, surname or snap score or snap id.... or somethin else....
also regarding flexibility as it might clash with other GD/PI...
very anxious moments regarding cut-offs...
P.S.:- AB n IB will be called for GD/PI differently??

Generally, the work ex certificate is smthn on company's letterhead duly signed. It doesnt has a specified format bt shud reflect ur years or months of work. Last month pay slip can be attached as a second check

As of nw our guess is as gud as urs. I guess whn the list is out, thn some of the info regardn the changn of the dates is mentioned or can be clarified. Rt nw, nobody wud be willing to provide the info as every one is busy in processing the forms. U wil have to wait

Yes..u have a very gud chance of getting short-listed for both IB and ABM.
The no. of applications received this time around are not known as of now but i can tell u there has been a significant jump from the last year's figures which were close to 20k (for IB n AB combined )

To be honest, u have very very little chance if u belong to open category and have applied for IB course
