Hey hello to everyone. i am priya and i've applied to SIIB. I wanted to know wht is the tentative cutoff score for admission into SIIB. Well i also wanted to know what will be the probable gd/pi topics. i mean based on past experiences.
last year the cut off for SIIB was 76.5, WHICH includes snap score, some marks for workex, acads... this year its expected to be almost the same....
Hi I had got a score of 69.25 in snap-07 i am having a work exp. of 2 yrs in field sales my 10-56%,12-64%,and Grad.(B.sc.-lifesciences)-67.71% I have applied for sitm, siib(both courses),and scmhrd Frankly, what are my chances for SIIB?
I am very anxious whether my application form has reached SIIB or not. MY snap id is :-- 871560. I have sent it thru Blue Dart on 5th Jan. Its very important for me, as I am expecting a call from SIIB. Seniors, pls provide me some info on that or atleast tell me a way from where I can know my application status. I am not able tofind it in the SIIB website.
Hi I was going through the criteria mentioned here for shortlisting.. Was wanting to have clarification on the average graduation performance marks alloted.. (Above 80% - 3 marks, 70% to 80% - 2 marks,60% to 70% - 1 mark.)
Whatever sections have been mentioned along with the marks alloted seemed very unfair as around India there is no uniform system of marking. Some universities have 80 -85 as their average score while some universities it is really tough even to score 60% .
The scoring system is also varies with different streams. Where is the standardization done??
I guess they shud consider Xth and XII also rather than only graduation because this is where one can compare students on a fairer scale (which also varies actually).. its also shows an over-all academic record and then they can well judge how good/bad a candidate is. This kind of allocation of marks is surely gonna produce skewed results and definitely against students who are from such universities.
hi seniors, this is the first time i am writing here, however i have been reading this thread since the results came out! Though so many people have already asked you this and m sure you wont like the same question again but still snap score 66 work ex of 18 months in a consulting domain in analytics 10th 75 12th 68 and Btech 65 and decent extracurriculars what are the chances?
Class 10 - 75%, Class 12 - 63%, B Tech(EEE) - 66% and good extra curricular achievements with 17 months work experience. Do I stand a chance to get a call from SIIB ??

guys.. the world aint fair.. one should be prepared to deal with such biases in life.. if ure preparing to be a manager, then be prepared to be part of an unfair game and still win..

I agree with you.. life will put you in such situations.. But not doing anything abt it and choosing to remain silent is not the right way. The least you can do is voice your opinion. If it improves the situation - its good for everyone. and one more thing... if ur preparing to be a manager , you gotta look at the bigger picture and all the details rather than just looking at one or two aspects and making your decisions based on it..
