correction, it was 76.75... sorry... and the cut-off was arrived at after adding the weightages like graduation performance, work-exp and educational background... so 76.75 was a cumilative total of all these plus the snap score.. i think it has been mentioned in the earlier posts... u can check the weightages to diff things by referring to those posts...

and no idea abt this time... even i'm as much anxious as u r... :smile:

What is your cumulative score after taking into account various parameters as mentioned earlier in this forum (Refer some posts back)? Last time total cut-off score was 76.75 for MBA-IB for open category. I am again mentioning the procedure (originally mentioned by hemdeep) for calculating the total score for MBA-IB as follows:
The weightages added to your SNAP scores are as follows :
For graduation performance:
Above 80% - 3 marks
70% to 80% - 2 marks
60% to 70% - 1 mark
For fulltime work experience @ 1 mark per year subject to a maximum of 3 marks.
For Educational Background :
CA / ICWA - 4 marks
Engineers - 3 marks ,
Electronics / Computers - 2 marks.

by above means that ull get a 0 if u got 59 marks in graduation
and ull get a 0 if ure just a BA maths from du

hey they shld also take university into consideration in some universities getting marks above 80 is easy n in some getting above 70 is also difficult ,so hw can they differentiate on tht front....

have u seen the sibm cut-off's-really heart breaking especially after taking few points into consideration like they have a new school at banglore with 150 seats and they have considered the sectional cut-off too which has left many with score of 85+
so frankly,what r my chances at SIIB-AB with a score of 69.25
I don't know even this will be possible seems mountain has fallen over me:x

To be frank, no weightage to X and XII percentage.
For work-ex (in years):
>= 1 and >= 2 and >= 3: 3 marks
For graduation, your percentage will determine the marks. There is no special relief for those passing out graduation in humanities.

PS: This was the criteria which was followed last year. The criteria keeps on evolving. Please don't consider this as the sole criteria for this year. There may be some changes also.

The SIBM cut offs have really broken all hell loose. Never expected it to 85 with additional campus of SIBM Bangalore and sectional cut offs. So ppl getting less than 70 in SNAP don't dare to think for SIIB. Even me also of no where. I wonder so many ppl have done so well... ........
End of the admission season for me this year with no calls 4m any Symbi institutes. Even my bad luck is so gud. Did so well in SNAP but results have a different story to reveal. Wish u all gud luck for your future.

helo sir my sanp score is 58.75 and my 10th-75%,12th -80% scores,i am a 2007 passed out civil engineer,sir wht are my chances of getting a call from siib.

I am worried after scmhrd's list..........
I have snap score 67
X-76%
XII 76%
BE Mech. graduation 70% (but aggregate of 4 yrs 58% .as mentioned in online form)this seems to be harmful ........

still can i expect a call fro SIIB?
