I just called siib admissions dept to knw abt my application status..
They were fast and very cordial..
I guess its better to call there and ask rather than waiting out here as am sure seniors will be busy with their own commitments as well!!!

hi seniors, i am really worried after scmhrd, sibm results, my total SNAP score is 58, with about 25.5 in reasoning, 5.25 in GK, 14.5 IN QUANT, 12.75 in english. My 10th-76.8%, 12th-80.0%, doing B.Tech(IT) with 77% graduation marks till semester 7. I wanted 2 ask that, do I have nil chances for a call, or there is still a little Ray of hope
Moreover, can we expect the results to be out before 22nd ?

Well..the process for selection is pretty easy...Aggregate scores (i.e SNAP score+weightages for difft. parameters ) of all the candidates who have applied to SIIB are calculated and arranged in descending order..now students are short-listed on the basis of above list...lets say if 800 calls are to be given for GD/PI,then top 800 candidates from the above list are short-listed
So nobody knows for sure till what last rank the calls will be issued..it all depends upon the no. of applicants :smile:

The last year weightages have been given in previous pages. Kindly find the same. N this year's weightages are nt out yes..

Guys , not a single person is sure about the cutoffs.....
We can all get to see the list once it is out...
this guessing wont do us any good...
By doing this we are missing the chances of discussing some GD/PI topics....

I have a score of 75.75 with over 32 months workex in a leading IT company. with 70 % in BE. However 12th i have 58%. Is it a problem in getting a call? Have good extra curricular and sports representation till state level.

i filled SIIB form long back...and Mr. PRADEEP confirmed my status too...even i havent sent any printout of online application for....besides this i read nowhere any notice rgarding that...pretty amazed that such a thing is pooping up now...way after last date has gone....:sleepy:..also very much worried about high cut offs...the hope is dying...my score is 72 and after adding weightage as per last year scheme its coming to 78
...also most of the guyz discussing scores here are experienced and i am fresher...probably best strategy would be wait and watch instead of wild speculations...

its as per last year schedule..i get 3 bonus for more than 80 in grad.(84.3 thanks to deemed university) after that i got another 3 for being an engineer...so my total comes to 78.....its coming to 78 i might have typed it wrong(my mistake) in last post...sorry dude...its 78...its also last time's method..this time weightage could be different...i am not too..optimistic...

I ve done economics(H) from DU with an agg of 64% n m also a fresher. my snap score is 77.25, acc to last yrs weightages my score would add upto only 78.25.isin there any relief for students who ve done their grad in eco since in eco u dont get an agg of over 70.
