after a horrible snap score (then siib merit no: 262 ) and following with a rollicking gd/PI finally manage to move up nearly 200 places....
😃 feels good... confidence booster.. however i may not take siib as all 6 IITSOMs, Iisc, FMS(MS), MFC,NMIMS,MFC gd/pi is still left... so no worry for waitlisted pgites... however as one has told last year the merit list went upto nearly 45.... but this time it may be less as last year open seats were 110..this time it is being reduced to 90.. however best luck 2 all....hoping to meet other pgites in iitdelhi..bye till then.. :x :x
well guys i just calculated total no. of common stndts selected in scmhrd & siib is 16 leaving the scm waitlisted ones. ?????what bout the scm waitlist comin out

Completely agree with you dude on this...
It seems that not many ppl are interested in taking up SIIB this time round or is it just that junta is still a bit apprehensive abt joining it
SIIB guys pl. help us to get some insights as it will help a lot ...
Personally speaking , though I have converted SIIB ( Merit No. 22 ) still I have not decided wheather to join it or not....
I am in a process to collect more info on the SIIB from my sources like placements, collaborations with other B-schools and general curriculum etc.
Ppl. are giving mixed responses...Many told me that if you have a decent work-ex. lets say 1-2 or 2+ years and if you r despo on doing MBA this year then only join SIIB otherwise explore other options.....
Also one of the feedbacks that I got was really frustrating one..... Apparently one company which offered around 6 L.P.A at IIFT , came down to 3 L.P.A. when taking a guy for the same job from SIIB. I don't know wheather this is true or not but if it is ..then some serious thinking needs to be done bfore joining SIIB..it is a matter of one's career.....
Well junta , I urge u to get as much info as possible and post it on this thread so that the doubts if any are there will be cleared...Any SIIB guy/gal hearing ?????????

Syberite
Hi syberite, My merit no. is 23, BE(comp sci - 71%), fresher. I have GD/PI calls from NMs and XIMB. and my order of preference (if selected) will be XIMB>NMIMS>SIIB. (although I am sending the fee for first installment to SIIB). Even I have got mixed response for SIIB. Some say that its over-awed by SCMHRD:huh: , while others say that being in the same campus has lot of advantages. Regarding placements, i have heard its decent, but yes, companies tend to pay lower salaries here as compared to other b-schools . I guess some SIIB student has to step in to clear the cloud.......hamari madad karo yaaron.
