Hi Nitish This side Misha dn't worry u will be able to clr SIIB as There are many results+ wiating list of other B - Schools yet to be cleared I WAS at 70 hve clrd it as neeraj is backing out If i remmbre crrctly urs is 77 u will easily clrd it keep calling the SIIB office if ny1 has withdrawan his/her admission

1stly, congrats to all who have secured admission to siib.
i have scanned thru the thread, and firstly, lemme apologise on behalf of my batch.
its a fact that we have been extremely busy throughout the year, and so most of us didnt chk out pagalguy. (unlike the year b4 when u cud find me all the time... just like u:smile:...)
Placements:
jrs have been placed 100% for both agri business (which is a sunrise sector, in case u ppl dont know) and internatnl biz.
some ppl are goin back to the family business for training there.
senior batch got placed by feb this year. highest salary went to somewhere abt 18L pa, and the median is 4L pa.
student exchange:
u guys have an option to go to
1) germany (im goin this yr)
2) usa
where u will have an international perspective on life.
u will be taken on tours to reputed cos, and other places ;-)
faculty exchange as well as student exchange program exists.
course is hectic. i used to drop off in my engg days by 2, here we have to work at least till 0330.... well,, lots of pleasant surprises await u hee,
trip to MRA camps, tours, cultural events, picnics etc. but in addition u have acads too...
so see u ppl in july, u guys have the run of the college for a month. keep it nice and clean for us ok?

i got selected in the first list . i also had calls from FORE , ICFAI. But i believe SIIB has two advantages - first is the brand name (Symbiosis) and the second is the branch is very niche i.e. International Business. In India it is considered to be the second best for International Business. I also talked to a girl who passed ot this year and she is working with HDFC. she also said that many students were placed witg 4.25 lacs as their salary.

I tell you its worth taking up the course .I actually talked to a guy from IIM-B and he said that it iz better than GIM, FORE just because of the Symbiosis brand. So don't worry.
