Bhai, I would suggest ki don't look at the profiles offered but look at what profile do u want in ur career...and then decide which course to pursue!! yaar aaj courses ki kami nahi but log kuch bhi course kar lete hai ki iske baad 1 achcha job le lunga ...kuch paise kamaunga...gadi kharidunga..ghar banaunga...blah blah..but He will not be happy until he is happy with his job!!! kyuki din bhar to office me hi katna hai...have a thought over this!!

Treated much better in the US than In India. An international exposure is good(assuming you had gone abroad as a part of you twinning program) and Adcoms appreciate students who have studied in an international environment. When it comes to India in terms of admission hardly makes any difference which college you come from.
Ok so for programs like ms where we can do 1 yr in india and 2 year in usa.....After the program do we get jobs.....
I mean do they sau that since you have not done 2 years of study here we cant offer a job....And does the same thing applies in india for the job?? Sorry, i thought you have already done a twinning program hence my earlier statement.I dont see why you would do a twinning program for ur masters. If you ask me you will not get a good job in India if you Masters from any college apart from the selected few which leaves you with US where what actually matters is a decent amount of credit history.Your background is not clear to me neither are your goals. It would be difficult to comment without knowing them.

from last 3 years i am doing my family business in india but very much intrested in studying and working abroad mainly usa.....
For complete 2 years in usa i cant really afford, so with this program it is comparatively cheaper....Also student gets a ms degree from usa univ....
Af far as my plans are concerned i would want to work for 5 years in usa after ms and then i will search for work option in india again......
My prefrable job profile would be finance and consulting......

thing is i was working as a soft engg. for the past 3.5 years, i got a job offer after that, resigned from my old job, came home to take break b4 joining the new job. Got jaundiced...the new offer went out of hand because they needed me quick and i cudnt go before a month till i was health wise ok. didnt want to return back to my shitty old job. so currently have no job, searching for 1. maybe i'll get one ; maybe no. in the meantime preparing for MBA since having ample time in hand.. now suppose i dont get a job...what do i say in the PI ?? will they beat the shit out of me for having 3.5 years work ex aand sitting idle after that ??

Your PI's are almost 1 year from today assuming that you are trying to take admission through cat . You will get a job sooner or latter in few months . So dont think that you wont get a job .
Even at the worst case , if you dont get it , say them that you faced so and so issues in the last one year when you tried for a new job . At the end of it , no one can be perfect at all things and there is always a case of failure in some form . All you need to demonstrate is you failed after trying a lot

First and foremost, go to the IT sector as a last resort. Since you arre interested in mktg, u can try and look at some prr/media/advertisiing companies for profiles that would suit you. And CFA is a certification specifically for finance, so NA for mktg.

Now the kahani begins....I have done B.tech thousands yrs ago in 2006, after that, i worked in a bpo for few months to earn my livelihood, and as I m an ENGINEER , then i looked for some technical job, suddenly i got chance in telecom in RF Engineer(the worst ever job in history of jobs)...as an Rf Engr I got chance to travel (approx. 200 km daily) the beautiful villages of our country without having brkfast or lunch..(just all day on samosa, biscuit etc), then I got a chance to travel gulf country on a telecom project ....then i felt I got settled....but picture abhi baaki hai....there i have to climb towers, climb on highly steeped mountain....in 45-50 degree temp.....(it suckx)....any how i maintain around a year...there coz the perk was quite ok....as of indian companies...
After 1 yr..I know that I am not settled, the project was over and i was released from the company........then i came back to india..and got again a job in telecom comp...again..travelling ..and seeing beautiful villages...on samosa..started...after 6 months I came to know that project was over and i m released.....hmmmm... Then I wake up from a long sleep and it is 2011....( 5 yrs ) After tht I started preparing for bank PO jobs and SSC CGL...and It is around 1 yr..I m sitting idle and learning class 10 maths...and doing addition, subt, multi, division...

I am a B.tech in ECE who completed her course in 2010 but had arrears at the time of completion.I cleared them in 2011 with a CGPA of 6.21.I am a CAT aspirant but seeing my current situation of unemployment,I am in a dilemma whether to do a course in Networking or go ahead with CAT 2012 preps.My programming skills are not good.In any good B school,work experience matters.I am a girl and have certain constraints in moving out of my place.My academic record has not been good since 10th std.Even in 12th,I got 61% only.But I aspire to be a part of those 20 top B skools of India.I am ambitious but need career guidance to reach the heights I want to.My two years are already gone but the urge to to be better and on top stays on my mind.I cant afford a coaching institute now and I have to start from scratch for CAT.Also,I have a confusion whether ladies have growth in Networking.Which institute should I join in kerala for this course?If I go for CAT,will I be able to get into the top 20 B schools(Seeing my academic track record)Kindly advice.

forgot to add one thing for me it was not samosa,it was chicken chicken curry, chicken fry,as samosa is not so easily available in kerala.And yes i enjoyed my journeys a lot. full of greenery and nice small independent homes.farmers where glad to get there tractor loans passed.rice and wheat dealers where always grateful to me as i arranged them loans to get big Al22,tata33 tonnes trucks loans passed. customers do call in to enquire how am i doing.always had afternoon lunch at customers house, rice, sambar ,fish curry ,chicken
