Firstly, mine is a new profile, that I created just for this post. So please don't pass it off as a fake one moderators.
How many of you all think that this question was highly ambiguous? I mean wasn't the data they shared with us insufficient? There was no mention of what PF was being deducted out of? More importantly, it was not mentioned the take home salary=expenses.
I actually did all 33 in QA and left these 7 on purpose. Please share your views here.
Do you think this question should be declared void?
Also, all those who are in the same boat as I am, shoot a mail to them at [email protected]. I have already sent mine.
I was also not sure about the approach but when I solved the 1st question by two approaches i.e by deducting PF n by not deducting ..I remember getting an answer which was not in the options for the latter approach..
So i deducted the PF n did the rest of the questions.
I am not really sure which is correct but that's how i solved!
But on what did you deduct the 10% PF? The question never mentioned that, right?

I agree 10% on basic karne se aa raha tha. But that is not the point. A DI question is always supposed to give you data. It is not based on what really happens in a real world scenario. I am working and i know PF is deducted on basic only.
However, this is an aptitude test, not a test of accounting or taxation knowledge. And if a caselet is given, all possible assumptions regarding that must also be mentioned.

u r right they should give..but nahi diya toh hum kya kar sakte hain....apne future ke sath risk lekar ques chhod toh nahi sakte na...and jab answer a rha hai usse and most of ppl have done right also then i personally dont think they'l cancel the ques..

5 Questions related to Slary/PF ..Which were the other 2 questions ??

They were 5. I remember clearly.
I mailed them regarding the set of question.
@DeeBee1 you are correct that if you deduct 10 % of basic from salary, then you were able to answer every question. But I will like to point to a question which asked for savings of a family if there is no expense on child including PF contribution. I was unable to mark answer for this, and then I realized that there is some problem with data of this question. What is your say ?
Also, I think we need to popularize this thread so that SNAP authority gives attention to our concern.
I didnot mark any of them man. Thought it was not worth wasting time.
They should have been more clear. Petrol expenses are given to the employee so sould we consider that the employee spends it on other expenses or not.
