hey guys,
the website says shortlist 1 and asks my preferences for interview date, but I have not recieved any email...does that mean I have been shortlisted.. what does 1 stand for? I had opted for marketing, 0 workex, 96.88 percentile in cat, decent acads..

hope everyone had a good start to the year. The predictions for me (SCORPIO) says that the new year would start with a BANG (SOURCE : WEEK MAGAZINE)...... i am still waiting for the BLAST...........

Is there anybody who sent his/her form just before the deadline and has got a call?? I sent my form on the 26th of Nov, four days before the deadline and haven't got a call. I have 98.92%ile and 7 months of work-ex. Last year with a slightly lower percentile and no workex, I had managed a call. So am wondering if the first round has something to do with the people who sent their forms early


i sent mine 4 days before deadline..(wud hv reached the day b4 deadline.)
got call.
so i dont think thts the issue

just thought everybody would want to know that i just called up sp jain and they said the second list would be out by 14th of jan. the guy refused to comment on what criteria the lists are being declared. i myself do not have an sp call with 99.41 in cat all sections above 96

For IT :-
1) Any specific things that we need to be careful during our preparation.
2) After nearly 5 yrs work ex do i expect questions from engg....infact after working in software i have almost forgotten lots of things from my mech course
3) Will the groups be formed according to the specialization selected.
4) Anyone who got sp calls last year and got again this year....wud be mind joining us if u in bangalore. Will be very helpful for first timer like me. First timers who got calls this time can also join in.
5) Will we be getting any thing by post or courier or email is the only method of comm for issuing calls.
