We all understand that Engg. work a lot for four years... However the college doesn't give any room for leniency on Academic marks... They ask this 60% throughout because it helps the candidate during placements as companies go for better academics (As per Admission Office).

Okies.... Now 60%tile is less score... However Your profile looks good... You also have experience of 2 years... This should work in your favour.... I say you should take a chance and apply. You might get a call... You never Know!!

You don't have to apply separately to these institutes... Just fill one form and give your preferences for Institutes and their programs.
Balaji Institutes accept only CAT and MAT scores... You may mention both of them... However MAT scores will be 'Normalized' with respect to CAT... As CAT is difficult than MAT (Which means that 90%tile in CAT will have much more weightage than 90%tile in MAT). I hope this helps.
