Hi..am planning to join this institute...BIMM/BITM/BIMHRD/BIIB
but would like to know the PLACEMENT SCENE FIRST...
From what i have gathered there are about 1000 STUDENTS in the SBS CAMPUS alltogether...and its centrally placement strategy..
IS THIS NOT A VERY HIGH NUMBER TO BE PLACED???
I have been hearing THAT PLACEMENT SCENE IS BAD THIS TIME...IS IT TRUE???
I request you ''DO NOT DUCK THE QUESTION'' and answer honestly!!
ALSO can you care to explain this "FUSS ABOUT TO FOLLOW RULEZ AND REGULATIONS..." coz I have been studying in very free environment...

BIMM and sister institutes are known for strict rules and regulations. So if you are a free bird then it will come as a shock to you!!! I hope it clears all airs regarding rules and regulations!!
class 10= 88.4% class 12= 75% BE= 63% dec MAT= 91% but very bad score in CAT near abt 55%
i hav got merit certificate frm CBSE n participated in other activities.......i have send d form but not yet got any call frm them regarding GDPI....would they consider me...can i get a call ????????
Hi there... You will definitely get a call from SBS for GDPI Process... Low CAT score will pose as a problem when final merit list is prepared as the MAT score will be normalized with respect to CAT score. So people with CAT score 70%tile+ will have advantage over you any day. I hope this helps.

hi i have got 93%ile in sep mat and 73.16%ile in cat. x - 76 % xii - 78.4% bba - 69 % (agg) till now extra curricular - not great but have been nominated as head boy in school and as mr. fresher in coll. what are my chances in bimm ?
work ex 4 months till now and will be 6-7 months tilll june (managerial experience in sales and customer relations)
was cultural head in college
organised events technical and non technical
i play the Tabla Finished 2 national level exams
however my cat score is too low at 64.66%ile
can i still expect a call please do let me know...

U had high % in all the fields getting coll is depend on ur presentation at GD PI but major no is already in ur hand. other than this Branch that u preferred also matter generally score of freshers & PM & HR goes high

and i had gone in morning so that to meet a few students....
it was abt 9 am...AND SUDDENLY A BELL RANG AND THEY ALL (STUDENTS)STARTED RUNNING LIKE MAD....AND I SAW THE GATES GETTING CLOSED...IT WAS LYK VERY STRANGE N FUNNY BUT ONLY I WAS LAUGHING THERE....

lolzzz... yeah Mangoheart it is ofcourse true... and to tell you the reason ,the gate gets closed at sharp 9am and then who so ever comes is not allowed to enter!! We do hate it but it teaches us being punctual. This time at Convo many super seniors told that SBS students are known for their punctuality in their respective companies.. may be this was one of the reasons for this !!

hey puys i just bought to prospectus today hawever what i noticed was dat no where in the brochure der is something mentioned abot placements....der is just a page abt the list of companies that visit.....but what about the figures....hw many placed....how much is the avg package and that sort of stuff.....neways guess some1 here can help.....plzz
1.how is the placement situation? 2.what is the avg package? 3.how many students get placed roughly? 4.if u say that the current situation is the problem for low placement den let us knw abt the pplacement figures of 2007 or 2008.
Sri Balaji Society is known for its placement track record. I can assure you that more than 150 companies visit the campus every year. Getting placed in to a better company is an individuals ability. Despite the recession last year they placed all the students by September 2009. This year as on tody almost 400 students have been placed and the placement activities are still going on.
