i just have one question.. why is the mandatory disclosure page under construction since November 2009 ?
wats that supposed to mean ? that nobody in BIMM is bothered about it ? or is it something else ?

BIMM website scores great in terms of sartorial attraction.. all wearing glazzy dresses n all but comparing that with other any serious Bschools websites big difference is bound to be found easily...
last yr even in downturn placements were bright at balaji i did heard but this year among 1100 ppl hardly 350 are placed.. is it true''

The details of placements are under updation..and not an excuse. Check the other link for students who got placed in BIMM.
Last year, when companies prefer to be away from campus recruitments, SBS placement team worked till June '09 for the batch 2007-'09 and ended up with 100% placements.
This year also we are seeing the institute trying the level best to bring companies to campus. Now, what exactly you want to know.
The current placement scenario?
Everyday we have atleast one company visiting for placements.
Before the course ends, we are very much sure that all our batch mates will be placed.

Your 55% marks in X CBSE is not matching with out eligibility criteria for general admissions.
If you fall under the category of SC/ST, you will get a relaxation of 5%.
Also if you have work experience of 5 years or above you can apply with 50%.

Systems specialization is related to IT and operations specialization is related to Mechanical. Since you have a background of Telecom, you can opt for PGDM in "Telecom" or "Telecom& Marketing" given by BITM
You cant make choice about Telecom after one year.. If you want operations or systems, you can make a choice after the first semester and not after that.
as far as possible i wud want to be in BIMM....and not in ant sister insti....hw is operations related to mech??operations shud be der in any field...be it telecom,civil,medical,mech,production, anything shud be ok right wid operations??

hi sir,things r changing rapidly....u hav 2 take systems spec in first sem only....because of vastness ob syllabus....
and skd..da sis instis get more leverage dan MM in da campuss..students r equally distributed....faculties r common...and placements r 90% common....so u can easily opt for BIMHRD orany other clg...
operations is basically logistics & supply chain management....the course curriculum is designed in a way dat it helps u to get selected in heavy industries majorly....so mechanical students r preferred..another reason is recruiters here prefer mech stus here..so as da clg goes...becoz its the clg's respo 2 place da batch isnt it?

System specialization in SBS starts by the mid of first semester after an internal assessment.
I guess you have the right info regarding the institute. All the four institutes follow common syllabus, common examination system, common placements for the students who are selected through a common admission process. (I hope you filled a common application form for all the four institutes)
There is misconception that all high profile students get admission in BIMM. That was past and no more such a practice exists in SBS.
okk dnt take...but da pt is u cant control it..becoz its a high powered committee which decides these things....so suppose u got BIMHRD mkting and den because ob dat u dnt join sbs as u consider dat as risky...den mst probably u will make mistake...let me very frank..in our batch atleast BIMHRD HR is better dan MM...accordin to Bala sir..and students r really capable dere also...and if u r capable no one no clg can stop u.....

but guys telll me...in da interview if dey ask me...which specialization and which college u want wht i will say....i knw comin frm telecom bakground i shud go telecom....but m nt sure abt BITM....and y nt try for the best when u are given a chance....y do u wait for bala sir to say this batch is better....y nt get the best outta what u can....right?? if i m not gettin den i might think over it....but nw i want it

u hav already given yr preferences isnt it???so dat will be certainly taken care of....after dat if u score very well in GDPI process... den da clg is bound 2 give u da best pref u hav given...it is always maintained..but if u wont be able to score dat well dere den the problem of choices comes...denb depending on yr profile & intent de put u in da best possible place as per dere judgment.and if u dislike u hav all right to ask dem to change yr spec & clg..if feasible de do it certainly....................

dude i have messed up my form preferences and wud want to change it....i have filled it ne how....i m nt sure if i wud want to go by that preferences now....can anything be done??
hey btw....i read in the prospectus that u r supposed to sleep from 12 am...no lights will be on after 12am...so how cum u guys are still nt sleeping...not that i mind but i thot some1 said Rules here r strict
