hi all, one query regarding DEST - if someone miss one line while typing and later came to know about it , so whether he can enter that missing line or not within 15 min?
My typing is not as good as required but i can make it in 1 month. At the same time due to my less interest in CSS m not motivated enough to practice typing. My only fear is if like last yr the minimum cutoff of this yr also goes to CSS then i might land up in non interview Post (this is a worst case scenario if not qualified in CPT + less marks in Interview). I m in a mix to get motivation for Typing Practice..... !!!
Suppose i give TA as my first preference .. and if i failed in DEST.. ami i eligible for other posts NIP posts???

Hi guys, I saw that there are lot of candidates common in both CGL 2013 final selected list, and CGL 2014 interview list..will those go for interview as most of tgem are already selected as Examiner and ITI..?
Where are the training of CSS or Min of Railways or other assistant posts held and what are their timings? Is it suitable to prepare for UPSC while in training as well and is Sat/Sun off in training as well?
Today I met a senior guy who has been working in central excise since 2009. He suggested me three ways while deciding my preferences. A)- If I wish to clear UPSC exam then I should join the dept of CAG as a Divisional Accountant since as a DA I will have nothing to do expect signing a few checks occassionaly so I may continue my studies even sitting in my office.. B)- If I wish to spent my whole life in delhi and to wield some power second to only IAS officers then I should go with CSS. C)- If I wish to make money by illegal means then I should join Examiner, excise, ITI, etc.
Few myths in the minds of people:-
1) If u get selected in Excise or ITI u can get posting to your home state after 2-3 years.---- wrong u can apply for transfer par hota nhi h. Once u become assistant commissioner uske baad transfer hota h
2) Physical test for excise PO Examiner me nikal denge --- formality hoti h nhi nikalte h. CBI me ache se test hote h ye sahi h
Do not fill Examiner excise PO in your entire list if u r color blind. Agar post mil gai inme se koi to baad me nikal denge aur fir koi post nhi milegi. So If u r color blind then do not fill these posts in your preference list.
