Just sending an IMPORTANT Message. An acquaintance who works in Customs told me that if one is in OBC/SC/ST category and gets a rank in UR as per ones preference order ( if you order is A,B,C and lands a rank where he is getting job A in UR) will get the job as a UR and will get a relatively lower rank in UR and may get no state preference as a result. Just wanted to share. This is relevant for candidates in reserve category who are getting scores at par with UR. 

One TIP for such candidates: (Either get 70-75+ in interview so that you simply top in UR and get good state preference or perform badly and land 45-50 so that you don't get selected in UR and get a good state preference being selected in your category)

Can you help? My graduation degree says 'Passed the Btech exams from KUK held in Dec 2013' where as the issued date is dec 2014.

Some self proclaimed spokespersons of SSC might start disseminating various false information regarding interview like interviewers at particular center don't give good marks, and if you have nothing to mention in ECA and other column you won't get enough marks and various other things... They will try their level best to demoralize you. Guys don't fall prey to their cheap tactics. Have belief in yourself.Only one thing may fetch you good marks and that is how you present yourself and express your views before interviewers. All the best to all of you.
