There was a question on aug 17 3rd shift. Average of p q r = 45 average of p q is 34.5 and average of q r is 52. Then what is the wsight of q. Options were as follows, i think the question was wrong give ur opinion.

this was a comment on qmaths last year cutoff prediction and he was bang on..if same method is applied what can be new cut-off and diff factors for that..give answer in comments..??
your data is correct except the fact that people faced lag ...it's only first 2 days at very less center's. Most deciding factors from my observation are:
1.For a same difficulty level paper , cut off increases by avg 5 marks due to increased preparation techniques. So cut off for unreserved is 108+
2.Paper is easier than last year and maths is easier. So put those extra 5-7 marks . Cut off is 115+.
3. 15 mins more time compared to last year. As 200 questions are given 120 minutes, 100 questions are to be given 60 mins but these extra 15 mins gave ample time for people to finish all 100 and give a look back at them. So in 15 mins people can attempt 20 extra. Given 80% accuracy, 16 marks can be added easily as paper is easy . So cut off is 130+ for gen category.
4. And don't expect 120+ cut off for obc, and much lesser for sc,st. It will be around 125+ (obc).110-120(sc,st)
