How to file grievance on ssc website....plzz anyone
This is my analysis of CGL-17 with regard to CGL-16. Also those who think cutoff will be 130+ or more or less same like last year's.

GK post 15th August shifts had been random, extremely tough as conventional question paved way for abstract current affairs questions. At least 10+ questions were beyond attempt, no matter कितना भी तुर्रम खान हो aspirant.

Reasoning and maths were easy with a couple of here and there time consuming tricky questions. Also in every shift at least 1-2 questions had wrong answers. A good aspirant still left out at least 2-3 questions in Maths and Reasoning while attempting the remain with ease. As there was paucity of time, 60 minutes instead of 75 minutes, many candidates didn’t stick with tricky,calculative questions for long. They left them in order to attempt the remain हलवा types. Hence a good attempt in reasoning and maths stands around 22-23 questions.

English was of moderate to tough level, with some tough vocabularies and cloze tests etc. A good attempt by sincere aspirant stands 20-21. Now 10+ 3*2+ 4 gives us 20 questions This leaves us with 80 questions which the aspirants attempted by applying their knowledge and getting answers. Assuming very high skills among aspirants, they are still bound to have at least 3-4 questions wrong in Maths, Reasoning and English combined. Not to forget the temptation of तुक्का in GK, another 2 question wrong. This gives us at least 6 questions wrong. Hence the average marks of a sincere aspirant stands around 140-145. I am still being generous in this. This is in stark contrast to last year, when हर किसी का 155+ आ रहा था, with basic preparation. In a balancing act, pre 15 August papers have tedious mathematical calculations and rest easy. Cutoff will definitely be on the lower side.
Evident by comments too. Last year when anyone wrote ," Hey ! I attempted 85, people were like “Meh! Big deal, हर किसी ने किया है । But this year people say,” Roll No, दे तू अपना, झूट बोलता है। तेरे पप्पा लगे थे क्या invigilator? So sort your s**t and start studying. Jai Hind!
