Reason why CGL Mains 2017 will not held in Feb :-
As Asim Khurana is retiring on 31 May, 2018 so he is tring to delay case as much possible. It is also a reason why CGL 2018 is not mentioned in SSC calender because they know they are going to delay cgl 2017. Government is also busy because of elections in many states this year, so no pressure on ssc.
Candidates need to protest against ssc or it is going to become worse.
Any update on CGL 2017 normalization case?
this raju dumbass has not only delayed 2017 main but also cgl tier 1 2018
i think we should also file one case against ssc for delaying the process as third party in cat that will be only solution to this mess

Can SSC conduct Tier 2 without resolving the pending Normalization case in the court ? Or the fate of tier 2 somehow tied with the case ?

we got independence only in legislature,not in executive machinery,which still functions like the pre indep british govt.So much of institutional ego in a recruiting org like SSC! This case would have dropped dead if ssc had done two simple things,firstly make t1 qualifying.And then reduce the cutoff by some more margin,thereby giving chance to maybe 50-60000 or 1 lakh candidates extra,for t2.Normalisation would not have been a issue then.While I have enjoyed the benefit of an easier fixture,the fact is that there are people who appeared on harder sets,and people who appeared on sets maybe easier than even my own(17th august 2nd shift).So under this condition,since ssc is not willing to implement statistical normalization(and rightfully so,because in rrb ntpc I have firsthand experience on how random&unpredictable statistical normalisation can be),they can just reduce the cutoff by 15-20 marks extra.Now I believe no single paper of any shift was tough enough for a serious candidate not to score atleast 110-115 .And when it is all qualifying only,then there's no problem anyway.
