This is to seek your attention towards an important issue regarding the delay in SSC CGLE 2017. CGLE is the flagship exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission every year to recruit central government employees for various posts such as Inspector Income Tax, SI in CBI, ASO in MEA and many more. The tier-2 or mains exam for CGLE 2017 was supposed to be conducted on 11-12th of November 2017. But it has been postponed multiple times. Just a day ago, it was postponed yet again and proposed to be conducted from 17-22th of February 2018. The reason for the aforementioned delay is never stated in the official notification and the RTI queries or grievances filed for the same have proved to be a dead letter! All this comes at a time when the Hon'ble Prime Minister announced that all such recruitments must be completed in a period of six months. The repeated postponement has created a great confusion and the authorities don't even seem to care as the aspirants have no common voice to be heard.
I therefore request you to look into the issue and bring to light the actual facts or reasons leading to the successive delays. I also urge you to bring this to the notice of the authorities to hold accountable those reponsible in this matter.
