Hi Guys..
I think people are much excited about CGL 2014 exam and it seems the preparation is going fine.
I want to add few points here. Please take them in a right sense.
1) While giving 1st pref as Excise inspector, PO or Examiner, Please make sure that you dont have color blindness. Color blindness is not accepted for that jobs and worst thing is it is not mentioned in the SSC CGL notification.
I have seen the application form for medical certificate for 2010 batch from Maharashtra region in CGL 2012 thread and it is clearly mentioned that Color blindness it not at all accepted by that Dept.
Why I am saying this is am getting 430 in CGL 2013 with first pref as EXCISE and with lot of color blindness and ofcourse I chose another option in life.
According to statistics, there is a chance that 0.5% of women and 8% of men may have color blindness and is not curable and not controllable. So, before giving preferences, check this, or else, consequences will be very bad.
2) Dont put too much hopes or dont depend too much on CGL only. Infact on SSC. Please prepare for other exams also,like RBI assistant, local Govt exams and Bank exams etc. I think u have already seen what is going on for 2013 case. This is not for distracting you people, just to make sure that you should not be disappointed after putting much efforts on these exams.
3) Please see the previous papers for more and more idea on how paper is and practice those models. Because, you wont see new models much in SSC exams. Same questions are keep on repeating.
4) Stress more on GK so that there would be no threat of Sectional cutoff.
5) Dont listen to rumours and dont spoil ur mind before exams. Have your own agenda and go accordingly.
6) Last but not least, help others in clarifying doubts and giving or sharing materials etc. I hope I did my part for CGL 2013 in this area.
