First of all my regrets for all those ppl who feel depressed on seeing the no. of vacancies..and this post is not to any genuine hard working aspirant... Here so many ppl seems to b obsessed with just their careers, not for the country. But the comments r to the highest level as if going to save the country from supression. While analysing the works of any govt, consider it in a wholistic way...decreasing a few vacancies may appear to u as not encouraging employment, but afftect ll b very minimal on overall employemt or even nagative with the increase in vacancies here...No where in these jobs there is some production/ manufacturing/service, more so it is like a scrutiny...and most of the ppl targeting these jobs are for leisure work and majority out of them r to fill their pockets...So, more such candidates, more pockets to b filled, more entrepreneurs/individuls to suffer, more discouragement to the investment mkt, finally leads to massive loss of employment opportunities... Finally I am not here to say that these jobs are completely unproductive, but majority candidtes are being unproductive on role..so it is always better to maintain these jobs at an optimum level and encourage other jobs through the schemes - Make in India, Stand up India etc., that is wat the creation of maximum employment, which leads to further generation of employment... If u r more serious in getting the opportunity to serve through these jobs, intensify ur preparation...but if r serious in getting any job, there are so many oppurtunies bring created, better try to collect more knowledge about them, u ll find a more better one...All the best
