Our PM talked about Tax compliance, problems faced by CBDT and CBEC and about widening the taxation area in yesterday speech. But the major problem is about infrastructure and manpower needs in these departments Which will increase enough revenue to overcome not only financing the salaries of those newly appointed employees but also create surplus Govt income. But Despite critically understaffed department Govt is even decreasing the vacancies in CGL and other exams. How hypocrite of our PM. I think he may lack political courage to reform the system. PS: I am not affiliated to any party, and I support NDA Govt for their initiatives in other areas. I am no Kejri fan either as I despise him for being an oppurtunist.
