hey dude,
well even ive coverted imt mib,but m joining tapmi for some reasons like
1.well the course at imt, mib is a relatively new course i.e not even 1 batch has passed out.

2.even though imt has a great track record for placements but still when i was at imt some students were still left for their summer placements.

3.tapmi has a great academic base n its placements have also been good this year and the fees a almost 2 lacs less.

so in all tapmi is a better bet than imt mib.
jst post whatever u dcd n i hope tat this info will help in making ur decision.

I Think ill be joining Tapmi too :smile: !

Still waiting for MDI-HR (WAitlist-6) to clear....but I made up my mind to join Tapmi.

Guys on waitlist can call up and know their status....yesterday i called n was told i was waitlist no 1...and today i called up and Prof Simon confirmed admission and that the letter has been dispatched.

I am from Mumbai. Hope am not too late to join the Tapmi gang.

M running for loan from SBI. Seems they have problem with the new software that they are installing across India and the implementation is from FOOLS DAY.

And that they give loans without collateral is also different from the fact. Either u should know the manager or u should give the collaterals. Without this, it takes quite a time convincing them about ur good intentions of not into defaulting game.

hi folks, I too have got a call from TAPMI. was in the waiting list, but Prof. George's mail has landed at my inbox and i feel pretty good about it! had a somaiya call that i'm going to chuck. just hope my course (B.Tech - final sem of course- calicut university) finishes before jun 17th! else i'm dead!

this is Vimal Chawla, im from dehradun....(North) infact as u might be knowin its very close to delhi..... so how r u plannin to go to manipal as n when the date arrives....i guess we cud go together.....in the meanwhile why dont u join d yahoo group....also dont forget to add ur details in the database,n give ur intro there..... there is alot of kinship developin in this grp.... see u there..... 😃

Hi Tapmi class of 2007

I am karthik from Chennai and got my final call yesterday through mail. Intend to remit my fees and become a part of Tapmi Class of 2007. I am a fresher, B Tech Chemcal, St Joseph's college of Engineering. 95.48 Percetnile in CAT. 81, 81 and 85 in SSC, +2 and Graduation respectively. Look forward to be part of class 20076 and lets take Tapmi to greater heights by the time we leave Manipal in 2007. Look forward to be with you all from June 17th mates. Anybody from Chennai? Let us have a meet and form a team. All the best to my batchmates.

Finally made it through. Thought I have not received a formal mail from Tapmi but the admission web page shows that I have been selected.....

And a letter will follow......

i guess we wud have to leave by 15th morning if we go by mangala...but do consider goin by air deccan... i think there is some offer by air deccan tat if u get ur tickets booked 2-3 months in advance there are heavy discounts....well i'll enquire abt tat n get back to u..... meanwhile chill man....see u soon...
