this is vimal here.. i also made it to TAPMI and will join its 23rd batch..... now i rate it amongst one of the best colleges in india and also that much more when you consider its faculty and the rigourous program that they exercise.... ok i agree the infra may not be among the best but u can't discount the fact that some real kewl companies have been coming here for recruitment !!!! that itself shows the kind of image TAPMI enjoys in the eyes of the industry!!!:)

anyways i also joined the yahoo grps!!! hope to see all u guys soon at tapmi

for my intro ---- im from dehradun ....an ECE engineer passed out in 2003 and have been workin in my family business.... have had a pretty good experience in the consumer electronics market....... and ya when we meet at TAPMI we will ROCK!!!!!!!!! 😃

and comp.engg. 2004 pass out.

work ex-7months a very small company engaged in computerisation of treasury of mp govt.

%ile:-93.31(still i got thru!)

tapmi gd/pi panel:-panel 3(does any one remembers mr choudary prasad?)

i also got thru imi but i have decided to join tapmi. so see you people there. i request other people who have got thru to post so that we could know each other.

Hi nagraj17,
i would advise you to prepare for NM gd/pi. if you get thru nmims it would be better to join nmims. same applies to iift. i am also having call from nmims. i am ranked 728 and having a score of 90.11. though i am having a low rank still i am going for nmims gd/pi. so you should also try your best. and you should worry about where to go when the choice is really in your hand. till than happy preparation and best of luck. as far as tapmi is concerned then i think it's a very good institute and i am dropping imi new delhi for tapmi.

and as far i am concerned well for next 3 months i will be reading reading and reading my favourite books . i don't think i would be having any time when i join tapmi to read lord of the rings of all of michael crichton's.

first of all, congratulations to each and everyone who made it thru.....as for those who dint, wish u all the very best in whatever it is that u choose to pursue.
now i understand that people would like to get somethings still clarified ( like whether to take tapmi or not etc).....for all those queries, please go ahead and mail me at [email protected]. Will give u as realistic and unbiased a picture as possible.....the reason i am not doing somthing like that here is 'cos i think different people have different specific queries and i wouldnt want to generalize.
even if u dont want have anything, feel free to mail either jassi or me.......will help u out anyway possible
