first of all, congratulations to each and everyone who made it thru.....as for those who dint, wish u all the very best in whatever it is that u choose to pursue.
now i understand that people would like to get somethings still clarified ( like whether to take tapmi or not etc).....for all those queries, please go ahead and mail me at [email protected]. Will give u as realistic and unbiased a picture as possible.....the reason i am not doing somthing like that here is 'cos i think different people have different specific queries and i wouldnt want to generalize.

Now that the results are officially out on the website i am sure we would see many more pgites posting on this thread.
I have also made it to TAPMI. i had posted it yesterday itself but guess da_incorrigible dint notice and thats why my name wastn ther in the post where he had listed a few names.
I am Bhavik M Pandya from Coimbatore. I am a B.com graduate with 10 months full time work experience as of now. My CAT percentile is 96.80. anyone from coimbatore who has made it pls pm to me.
It feels good when u make throught such a tough screening process...... and the ratio not to forget was close to 12:1.....

I think TAPMI's location idsadvantage is just a bif exaggerated............. simply because Manipal is entierly a knowledge city and all companies are aware of that....... plu si think it is close to banglore which is the hub of buisness right now ........... so a number of companies from there do go to TAPMI.................... but that only my take on the situation :whatthat:

but if u want 2 get into an academics wise good b-school, go 4 tapmi not nm in d wildest dream.

d final decision lies wit u, so decide wisely my friend, after al none can aford 2 do an mba twice!!

fantastic curriculum
best faculty, as u mntnd,etc.
thas what i wrote in d previous quote.
its academicaly 10 times stronger than nmims. nm is infamous 4 academic pursuits. d only advantage it has is location which leads 2 gr8 placements, plus d nm being bifurcatd in engg, comerce, etc col., it has a gud alumni base, which again strengthens its placements cause.
tapmi loses out in location n so placements wise its average comes around 4-4.5 lacs(CTC).. compared 2 5.5 of nm.
but d bigest strength of tapmi lies in its excelent faculty base.
plus after d new block blding formation of tapmi, infra 2 is on a high.
heard dis time 4m my direct cousin who studies in engg, in manipal, many bangalorean companies r stretchin out 4 tapmi big time. so mite b in 2 yrs wen u guys r about 2 pas out, placements mite reach an al time high with increased lateral placements 2.. so watch out man, ur luk mite do wonders... :grab:
one more thing, tapmi is very strong in systems, dat is a bit engg side fields. dats d feedbak i hav bin given. so once u get in try 2 get in these fields. plus dat zone is an it zone also. so dat wud inturn enhance ur chances of getin a gud placement. but a word of caution, take 'em only if u interested in it!! not jus 4 d sake of it. which 2 fields u n jay interestd in takin up in mba??

I am waitlisted in both IMI (WL 55) and Tapmi (No order). Have my NMIMS call too (rank No 956). If I have a choic of all the three I would choose NMIMS first (location in Mumbai and great placements), then IMI (again location in Delhi, good placements) and then TAPMI (gaining reputation fast. Experts say Tapmi will be among the top 10 in the country in 2-3 years). Choosing between IMI and Tapmi is tough. It is a mtter of individual choice. But everything being equal location in Mumbai or Delhi is a defiinte advnantage in terms of industry interface, placements, guest lectures and overall exposure. Wishing you all the best as your problem is one of plenty rather than ppverty!

Hi friends got the offer letter from TAPMI.. we have to pay Rs 25,000 by DD and also send the signed letter of acceptance till march 21. then a further Rs 78,000 has to be paid till April 5. those who fail to do so will risk their seats also as for withdrawals no refund incase you contact them after march 21 for the Rs 25,000 and as for the 78,000 if you seek a withdrawal after april 5 you shall get Rs 10,000 as a full & final refund. Start arranging the money guys (1,03,000)

:) got thru TAPMI...... i m JAGAT J SAIKIA from guwahati(ASSAM)... final year B.E.(ECE) student...CAT percentile was 96.65... i did fairly well in all the parameters of selection... nyways waiting for MICA... and IMT... otherwise im game for TAPMI....
