i was shortlisted 4 gd/pi, but dint go in d end 2 manipal.. thinkin of givin cat nxt year, thou i hav imt results awaited..
hey about u my friend, let me tel u dat tapmi is realy one of d good coleges probably in d top 20. that prety much means that until u hav any of d other 19 above it institutes converted, u shudnt leave tapmi!!

anu sir... tapmi is not "probably in top 20"... it can be rated overall as top 14th or 15th... courtesy our dear prateek sir... so make tht top 15... though placement wise i wont be rating it tht high... tht wd be in probably top 20

Not at all my friend, wasnt being sarcastic...........The logic is plain........get a call, convert it, and somebody down the list gets pushed to the waiting list.......some waitlisted one slips to not selected......maybe in the end it mite work out.............but u did save a few heart burns and some ppls Blood pressure from escalating like the sensex right now!!
And I know loads of people who would be absolutely positively exuberant if they land up with a final call from TAPMI.........

fresher..BE(IT) frm gujarat... countme in as well.. seems we gonna have hell lot of fun there.. well i left my IMT-IB for tapmi..risk paid off.. had calls for nirma..wellingkar..kjsom... but wont go..already converted lbsim but now have to leave it..can somebody pls campare tapmi wid nirma and kjsom???????????

Some of the Adv of TAPMI:
1) Strong faculty base
2) Focused and structured curriculum
3) Placements are decent, though not up to the mark
Disadv :
1) Its location vis a vis other B schools of same rank
2) Infrastructue is again not up to mark, but surely manageable( does
not hinder anything )
I personally believe that TAPMI is still not where it should be
I mean that it deserves more, so the onus lies on we the future TAPMIAN's
and ofcourse the Institute also

i belive dat wit newly found talents lik u, sazeal, jay(d latter 2 whum i no personaly), it can sure make it 2 d top 10 within a short span of time..

Add me in the W list. As far as I know only 3 or 4 from PGites are waitlisted. This is the first time that Tapmi has come out with a waitlist. Let us keep our fingers crossed. As they have not given nmumbers I have a faint hope that all the waitlisted candidates will get final admission in the second list. Hope.. Hope.. Hope..

1- Is there any initial study we should/need to do before joining?
2- Is there any compulsion for Laptops/Comps and how badly are these needed?
