Just now called up Professor Sudeep from Admissions Department.
He said,the second set of selected candidates list would be out by tomorrow evening on the website and this list will be purely for PGDM and that to for only 120 seats.The results for rest of the courses would be further delayed as they are yet to get AICTE approval.
Here is my take....
I think its clear to all of us that 120 are given final calls for pgdm as of now...
And I believe that around 900 are getting "waitlisted" message on the site...as per our friends who have tested it.
I think..these 900 consist of waitlisted for pgdm(240)..and people who are good enough to make it to BSF . IB and HC...I assume they have not finalized the 180 final calls for IB , BFS , HC...hence such a big waitlist which consistes of 240 waitlisted for PGDM ....and people who can make it other courses is well, and from this waitlist they will pick up the final call getters for IB, BFS ,HC, these people would have been put here bcoz the college itself did not prepare the final list for these courses..and hence has decided "we will pick from this basket of people , but we are gonna do it later..so we will put them in waitlist"...and I think a reject means rejected for all courses as of now...
This my opinion...I think there is a high possibility of it being true..

Even mine the web form for page where we check the results is not responding..as in it not giving our status ...may be they decided to disable it until they upload it with proper waitlist status..

neshville SaysGuys,i called up sudeep sir again..he told me that people who have even ticked for ib,bfs or hcm as their 1st choice are shortlisted for pgdm.although their waitlist number could b on the higher side,he also said that the info about 240 people waitlisted for pgdm was wrong..tomorrow,they wud b sending offer letters to candidates who have converted from the waitlist,and the status of waitlist wud be available on the website on wednesday..although u can call them up tomoro for the same
just spoke to sir ...and same response...there is no 240 pgdm waitlist....so all the students who are waitlisted stand an equal chance to get into pg/ib/bfs for now till the waitlist numbers are allotted...and a clear picture on which course uv been selected/waitlisted for would be out only tomo...
did anyone ask how many people accepted the offer out of those 120 who were selected?

They may be editing the result, but this one is not the addition. and now the page is working fine for me...but the result is same, no change of status and no waitlist number... 😞

even im getting the same result...the previous posts say dat new updates wil be seen from tomrw..can anybody confirm if ther is a change in dr result!!

Please dont get disappointed brother who knows the entire wait list may be exhausted and they may come up with newones please dont loose hope and wait till tomm evening and things will be very clear i wish u all the gud luck again please dont get upset friend.:|

crying a=or shedding tears for not getting an admission call is such an awefull thing to do. I jus read ur just 21 yrs old... boss us competitive life has not yet began and ur crying....
I am not here to wipe ur tears off... but never ever be that weak in life.... u winsome u lose some... u have full life infront of u... jus go and get what u want in life.... All the best....

so.. njoy life.. i got 7 calls this season.. 0 converts (till nw).. 2 waitlist(tapmi , siib)n rest rejects..so jst njoy the rejects..(that s wat i m doin)

its all speculation just w8 for tomm. This 900 has been arrived on basis of probability and is not word of mouth from any senior or memebr of admission committee...
It sounds very weird that all the students irrespective of whether they've opted for PGDM or IB or BFS are being short listed for PGDM. It can significantly ruin someone else's chances!! 😞

When the wait-list gets cleared tomorrow, candidates can find out about their up gradation by keying in their CAT/TAPMI Registration numbers in the results page(Such candidates would get an appropriate message). The update in the website would be done by tomorrow evening. Candidates can alternatively find out if their status has changed to SELECTED by calling the admission office. Please note that tomorrow's movement would be entirely based on how many candidates have rejected the initial offer for the 120 PGDM seats. Personally, I am still not convinced if the W/L no. for the remaining candidates would be known tomorrow. But the good part for the W/L candidates is that, (from the feedback received from selected candidates) not many are taking up their seat at TAPMI. So expect some good movement tomorrow.

Thanks Bharat.. That is a bit encouraging and disappointing.. Wait list movement is good news.. But widout having the waitlist numbers and count, we would still be dark reg our chances.. For ppl like me who r working, this is a nightmare.. Our notice periods are very strict nw a days and further delays would mean losing upto 20-25K.. Hope tomorrow we get our waitlist numbers also..

someone had earlier quoted the admissions office saying that thr will be 100 updates from the existing waitlist....does that mean thr r 100 people who will be converting frm d waitlist?
With the IIMs declaring their results a couple of days after TAPMI was done with the GD-PI process, I wouldn't rule out around 100 guys progressing to the Final Merit List. (That is assuming most of those guys had calls from IIMs!!)

Thank you so much Bharat. But according to you, people who dont convert in the waitlist movement tomorrow will be in for an even longer and agonizing wait without any info about WL numbers being given to them. I hope TAPMI comes up with numbers for all waitlisters tomm. It will help us all to make the right decisions about other admits/quitting jobs/arranging for the money etc etc.
