As Twinkle has said, this topic has been discussed umpteen times on this thread..TAPMI officials have said that they have AICTE approvals for 120 PGDM seats.. if they are so clear in giving you information, i'm sure there is no reason to doubt them.
they have clearly mentioned that they are awaiting AICTE approval for 60 more PGDM seats and for the 3 new courses..
Is there any more reason to discuss this topic??

Guys, was reading some of the previous posts.. (Boy, if somebody next year decides to go through this the "TAPMI Batch of 10-12" thread, all i can say is :cheerio: nervous excitement or what!)

Anyways.. so i was reading and as mentioned in one of the posts, for 120 seats for our seniors.. the waitlist moved a LOT. so i guess, for 180 seats this year (with this insti.. the approval should happen) i think even if somebody's name does not get upgraded into the 'converted' list today, there should be disappointment for the delay but i dont think it makes his/her selection chances very dim per se, especially as right now the list upgraded today will only factor the 120 seats and not the 180, as per what has been told by Sir.

Also, although yes not giving the waitlist no. is a dampner.. i do not know how i would have reacted if say, i would have been waitlist no. 567 without knowing if that no. is solely for PGDM or i am being considered for other courses also. i think one of the best thing one can do right now or if one is not upgraded today is to retrospect and look back at how his/her Interviews n extempores etc went and get a rough idea of where he/she should stand in the overall waitlisted scheme of things..
